My people are happy to see you have entered an enlightened age of no war and great scientific research. They are so happy they even turned a blind eye to the very expensive addition I made to my palace.

My scientists are researching Flight. Flapping their arms didn't seem to get them anywhere so now they are experimenting with engines and fixed wings.

3 turns. The AI seems to be quite a ways ahead but hopefully we will catch up. Their research is probably not coordinated so that's to our advantage.

I have just now traded territory maps with the great powers

they may have a tech lead for now, but only the arabs have a rail infrastructure from what I see

so I foresee that we will gather further speed on them very soon
