	thanks to all for FG tags in Other games Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I note with gratitude that almost all recent forum games in the Other Games forum have the "FG" tag in the thread title. This makes it MUCH easier to scan the forum for either non forum games, or forum games.

I would say this problem has been resolved, and that forum games can now live in peace with PC and console and board games on Other Games.

The forum-game community put some effort into this issue so that non-forum-gamers could use the OG as well. Saying thanks is a nice thing for them to do.

I disagree. The forum gamers are regulars to the section so can continue with the FG naming scheme. People just there to talk about games not covered by the site can come from all over Apolyton and hence not know what the tags are for or that they are supposed to use them.

So a respectful to the NFG tag suggestion.

FG: Mafia XXX
NFG: Mafia
NFG: Wishlist
FG: Something else

rather than NFG, it would be more useful to have the following:

PCG: PC game
CG: Console game
BdG: Board Game (id say BG, but that would get confusing)

I didnt suggest that it, as I didnt think anyone would really be interested in it. Im surprised some here are so interested.

Thats been suggested - but the owners dont want to create a new forum, esp since OG wasnt all that crowded pre forum games, and its argued that forum games create a wider audience for NFG threads. (hell, there are still people who put game related threads into OT for greater exposure)

So with the tag system working, I see no reason to create a seperate forum.
