Well, my computer's in the shop again (or, to be proper, it's been shipped off to Texas), for what will likely be the next couple weeks. That being the case, I will be unable to play the turn until I get it back.
In any case, here's a couple things to help out whoever might play the turn:
I've summarized what I'd like to see in the near future in most turn reports, so looking back at those should help somewhat.
Besides that, it's important to keep building Settlers and new cities so that we can grow larger, and once the FP build-Palace jump plan is complete we'll rise greatly in economic strength because we'll have more cities to take advantage of it. I have a city plan posted somewhere, along with the destinations for our current round of Settlers in the past few turnthreads.
Keep the cities growing, watch the food production in order to make sure we don't lose any. Cities around the flood plains and Funky Town can usually alternate between 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 (food per turn) to grow at a constant 3 turns, depending on what tiles are available.
Happy Hills is an important area to watch right now. A few things are going on there all at once. The tile directly south of Happy Hills and the one west of that (the forest currently being chopped) need to be irrigated, and the remainder of the hill tiles around HH should be mined and roaded. This way, HH should be able to work 4 hills and those 2 irrigated tiles at size 6 for max SPT and 0 FPT (no growth). I've got a few of these things started, but there's still more to be done.
Watch for barb camps and protect our Settlers.
Anyways, if there are any more questions I will usually be able to get access online for an hour or so per day, and I check my email (NeroTrip (at) comcast (dot) net) and PMs whenever I come on.
