So trade networks can be established in only one direction? Or does this only work when continuing pre-existing trades? Do you teach this stuff in a course at AU Prof Alexman?

By the way, to answer your question about war not stopping trade routes, it doesn't happend only in pre-existing trades, but for all trades, even new ones.

it grows in 10 (1 culture per turn) turns, but iirc even 1 culture counts to keep it.

Ok, so how come I'm not getting all my income? My city screen shows 3 commerce from the home tile (becasue of the palace?) and I'm working a tile with one commerce. Both F1 and the bottom of the city screen only show 2 total commerce, as if the center tile is only producing 1. The palace jumped here 3 or 4 turns ago...

Have those evil Tarzan taxmen invaded?
