Mamluks scenario updated Increase the size of your Attachments

To be honest, I don't remember how much I've changed, I did it some time ago.
I fixed some mistakes, and made the scn even harder.
I emphasise: the game is ment for playing Egyptians only.

Wow Heresson, you were right about your cities - they are nice Do you mind if I offer some constructive criticism though? They look much nicer still if you raise the contrast by 33%

It's that green guy. Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Ok, I looked at Memluks. Very interesting scenario; great map! good terrain graphics, and I like to see any ancient or medieval scenario.

I agree precisely with Gareth. The city graphics are very good, though they tend to be a bit isometric, but my feeling was that the city, as well as the unit graphics, need to be darker.

When I first looked at it, I thought, "It's that green guy." This is just a small suggestion, but sometimes, a colorful approach is not a bad idea. One can stick to loud primary colors for loud, primary eras, or used more subdued, chromatic hues for more subdued, chromatic times. If you really must go with a monochromatic approach, have you tried some other color besides bright, neon-light-like green?

Of course.
Generally, the idea of using little boats was by Bernd.
I took a little sail of some unit drawing, and made a boat out of it. I used it earlier.

But be happy - You are bringing a damn good scen to 28 people in the world!

You're welcome.

Do not lose heart - There are enough hardliners to keep it going!

There are still 'Elite Frontier' and 'Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe' communities out there!

I am confident Civ2 will never die from the net.

Really old games from the MS-DOS era.
*Curt has a nostalgia moment*)

There are still people hexxing mods for these ancient games.

So I think Civ2 will have support as long as there is a place to go.

A Civ2 unity movement (similar to the source code movement) may be the thing to do.

28 downloads arent so bad...
ehm, if you don't consider I downloaded Mamluks 10 times
However some civers prefer other historical periods (ww2, roman age, colonization, nowadays times, fictional, future, and so on), but MidleAge will have always its fans !

One of my faves too - Still have it on HD somewhere!

Does this new version have a realistic image of a P-38 being attacked by a Me262 on the cover?

If so, the box packaging was good, but the game did look poor.

Today's games developers just don't have the attitude the old-school guys had.

Got spare money?

That's the one - it was supposedly designed by the same guy (Lawrence Holland?) who also made those Star Wars space flight sims and the SWOTL prequel Battle of Britain. The new SWOTL (forget it's name) is a pretty ropy arcade game sadly... you can't even view the action from inside the cockpit.

That sounds like the dodgy arcade shoot-em-up I seen too.

Holland certainly lost his magic touch.

I will just have to console myself with fond memories of strafing enemy AA guns in my Go229!

Heh, that brings the memories flooding back Curt. Must be 10 years since I played it and 5 since I last saw the 3 1/2" floppy install disks If only I'd kept 'em - it seems you can get a converter to run SWOTL under Win XP..... /wipes tears from eyes/

Oh, yeah, fantastic scenario Herreson
