Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I'll play the turn late tonight probably, after band rehearsal.

In 4 turns we can have >20 cats and 19 LB, and most spears will be in Silkfest.

If we have GP and SP then, it will be another 4 turns movement to the front, with some recent units still en route.

There are 3 bonus grassland around Plymouth & Corinth, but it'll take ages to get water up there. I reckon we should mine them for now and irrigate them later, rather than leaving them undeveloped until water arrives.

I'm not sure about the Library in Corinth, we might want a Marketplace instead.

I reckon we should consider a pillage strategy on our assault. There are ~20 tiles in their central core, and another 5 further south.

If our SoD walks into their core, they either defend tiles so we attack the units or sit in the cities and watch us catapult and horse-pillage their precious roads (and mines). Let's see how many units they can support with no roads in their empire!

Got spare money?

In the south there are 2 horses and a boat. The other 2 boats with 3 horse + 1 spear are coming back north. Not sure where to put the 2 horses atm.

I dunno about pillaging. I think the time for that has passed. I think at this point, we need to just bull ahead and go for the jugular.

Regarding the bonus grassland... forget what I said about irrigating that. Mine it.

Nearly all our city growth should be accomplished via adding workers anyway. Badcrumble will need to continue pumping workers for, oh, like the entire game. The only cities that will need irrigation are those with a significant number of hills/mountains (more than 2 hills, or more than 1 mountain) in their area. And Frisco, of course, just to pump its pop for the jump.

Well, if we were to go for the jugular ...

... seeing as Monkey can fill threatened cities with hordes of numids, CoD & Python should each try to stand adjacent to 2 cities - eg having 1 stack between Gorilla and Orang and another between Gorilla and Macaque.

We should check with Python about a city 899 of New Plymouth. I had assumed they would fill that spot, but it's been open for a long time now.

Yeah, especially as BC will be on workers ad infinitum. There be workable tiles 'round there. Shall I ask Python if they want it? I doubt they'll refuse, seeing as we still have plenty of space to expand into.

No, the War-Joy bestowed upon us so generously by the furry fiends is still looking after CoS nicely.
