They didn't say. But, they sent it to PAL yesterday. We should be getting it in a few hours.

Also, BAT, the team we send to, said they checked their email servers and they were set up te reject email from @yahoo and @comcast. Togas's and my accounts repectively. They say they have fixed it. We'll see...

Just thought of this...

Has PAL scouted the area of Stable of Hermes? If so, they can bet we have Wheel and a horse in the area.

We should be able to cover for our knowledge of Wheel with the "we bought PAL's arm, leg, and soul" thing.

Do you mean PAL or CDG?

We told PAL ages ago we had horses and iron. If you mean PAL, Im not getting what your point is.

Poly is our settler pump. It is our only city with a grainary. If we wanted, we can build Zeus there in about 30 turns.... but it is better to use it for workers and abandon it later to palace jump.

CDG has scouted that area, and they know we are close to the iron, but thay have not discovered the wheel so they don't know anything about horses. It is a very logical location for a city as it has access to the water and is close to the capitol for low corruption.

Are we sure we want to evenually abandon Poly??? It has a natural aquaduct.

Also, I think that Apolyton Poly shouldn't have a worker right before a settler in it's queue. That would majorly depopulate it! Might be time for newly built cities to start building their own workers.

On timing of Zeus, if we want to use it for the war, we should probably think about starting it soon [well build a Temple & Libary first if their not already present], we've secured both Iron & Horses and access to Wine & Incense; those other city spots can wait.

There is an older thread around here somewhere about eventually moving our capitol via Apolyton disbandment and jumping it to a more central location just NE of the Ivory city I believe.

Im not sure how effective that will be in Conquests but thats the long term sort of pie in the sky plan.

The MOI will have to look at that hard and see if it makes ultimate sense.
