Is anyone bothered by a 5 meg download of a Java2 vm update file pushed to you the first time you play Clash?

You're right, of course.
But it's still relevant to whether we're going to use Java2 from the get-go. If we are, people are going to have to be willing to get it to use the demos and alphas.

5MB ? That sounds very small to me. After all, the civ games are all weighing in at 100MB or more, arent they?
We're going to have some large data files too.
But.. to answer your question.. a 5MB download once per software upgrade would be OK.
