I haven't had any issues with server load for a while.

That suggests a potential answer for your problem. How much does getting on to Poly at any time you want matter to you?

Btw I was thinking that if the load level that the server experiences and can tolerant stay constant, and that the Plus members do not get server busy messages, that would imply the more PLUS member there are, the more busy messages a non PLUS member would encounter.
