Should we have Civ2-style manual? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I remember it... it was a beautiful thing. A quite good manual, interesting, and informative. And thick.

Its always nice to have something to read on the train journey back from the shop that you buy the game from. Although these days the internet delivery negates that need.

I'd say yes on priciple and because I like those fat manuals, the trouble is that it will be outdated by the time the game goes gold.

A written manual would probably be outdated before the game is released, and become even more obsolete when the patches comes rolling in(hopefully). I suggest a well filled manual with info of the game and the background of civ/history and so on, and a little written introductiuon or something along that road.

That's so true! So, I suggest a manual consisting of a 3-ring binder with removable pages. That way, we can add/remove pages as each patch comes out!
