Hey,

Sorry I wasn't around for a while. I went to a concert this weekend that turned into a total travel NIGHTMARE.

We left my town in CT at 4pm Friday. We hit the traffic backup at 9:30pm. We actually parked at the camp site at 6:30pm on Saturday. The first set was underway. We missed that, and part of the 2nd.

Leaving the show Monday was also a disaster. We didn't move until 5pm. We hit an actual road at 7:15. I got home just shy of 2am Tuesday morning.

Blah. But hey, it was their last show ever (probably), so I kinda had to go. Anyway, looks like I didn't miss too much.

Random cool thing: I got back to a PM from Jesse from Firaxis asking if I'm interested in taking part in the "Civ IV summer play session."

Yup. Even if it wasn't Phish's last concert, it would've been my last (well, the festival camp-for-the-weekend sort anyway).

Toby's good. He's generally a good boy, he's just a 1 1/2 yr old lab, which means he constantly wants to play. Constantly. And he can be pushy about it. But hey, that's part of the deal. He'll slow down in a few years.

My sister really likes Phish and last caught them at (I think) Bonaroo a few years ago.
