so the game is back on track, time for me to say something most of you don't know (besides the chat gang)...
On September 5th I will be moving to Switzerland for 3 months, Geneva to be precise. The reason? Well, my mother (who is a diplomat) will be working at the UN office over there so I will take the opportunity to go and take some intensive french classes for a job opportunity I am looking for here in Mexico later this year, notwithstanding that I will likely be working part-time at the UN myself and looking for a future job too just in case. 
So basically from Sept. 5th to Dec. 3rd I will be away from my beloved Mexico and hitting the slopes (and hopefully the chicks too) over there in l'Europe. Since there will be so much to see and so much to do (and that's not including the classes/job) I will be severly curtailing my internet time and especially my Civ-playing time. For this reason I will be quitting the Consulship in September, one month before my term is scheduled to end.
To be honest, I have really loved this job despite the ups and downs we've faced as a team. It's been as challanging as it has been rewarding and I would have liked to continue for more time. Unfortunately, demo gaming takes a lot of my spare time and I sure as hell will not be spending my free time in the old world looking at a computer screen. I will still hopefully lurk and chat around from time to time so don't think I'll disappear completely (even if some of you want me to  ).
And for the record, this is my first time in Europe, I hope to be doing a lot of travelling around, time/money permitting, who knows maybe I'll even end up meeting one or two of you guys.
So, I post this thread so that any potential candidates can start to think about running when the time comes. And thanks to all of you who ever voted for me at one time or another (except WIA who always forgot) and thanks for making this team what it is.
