Yeah. I didn't want to but had to since former landlord was a shyster and simply cannot be trusted at all. I have no back-up options here so if I was to suddenly find myself without a place to live and it's not easy finding an alterative with affordable rent I'd have to move out back to the East Coast.

Anyway am trying to set up DSL tonight and I promise if successful, PBEMs will get played first

I have a camping trip to Mexico this weekend and when I'm back I guess I'll see if I can download game files onto a disk at work and bring them to my place so I can play my turns. This DSL thing is driving me nuts.

Just noticed the turn was up and played it last night. Glad to see it started up again.

Atleast 1 reload due to having the wrong Alpha centauri.ini when I started the game up, I also put in my password wrong once but I don't know if it shows that.

Of course, nobody listens to me. *sigh* I know, not again, Barinthus! I warned my roommate if he was to install Sorsenson videophone thing while using Linksys wireless network, everything will get mucked up and indeed it did. Now I don't have internet access at least not until Sunday when he goes out to buy Hlink (or something like that) which is compatiable with Sorsenson.

Note: The above was a copy and paste from few days ago. Roommate is supposed to get a new wireless router today. Fingers crossed.
