Military HQ announces the first open hostilities since the formal war decleration of our government against the government of the Human Hive. The Hiverian coastal base Great Collective's garrison has been obliterated by the first regiment of the Royal Marines, successfully eliminating the production and threat to our nearest bases in the area. Furthermore there was an partial successfull bombardment of the Hiverian capital, The Hive. Our old coastal cutter succeeded in damaging a Plasma Missile Cutter severely enough to keep it in port for the next few years.

Today, the Queen was present at the opening of the latest Secret Project, namely the Cloudbase Academy. The Royal Air Force is expected to deliver the first batch of well-trained pilots next year. If production schedules are maintained their craft will be ready by then as well.

This message just came in from our reporter at the Planetary Council: Provoost Rubin of the University of Planet has been elected as the new Planetary Governor with an overwhelming majority against his opponent, Brother Lal of the Peacekeepers. Rumours say the Queen has privately wished the Provoost well for his tenancy of the Governor's Seat and assured any help in making Planet a peacefull place again.

Atlantean Intelligence failed to notice military production within any of the numerous University bases.

There is a massive column of Hive military units heading for my northwestern bases. A military intervention by the Governor would be very helpful right now or those bases along with their boreholes will be lost to the Human Hive.

Their production potential would be of a significant boost to the Hive war machine.

and around Alphaville. An Hiverian offensive has been severely

Brief update: Aircraft in transit to Data Angel territory via Nautilus naval command. More support aircraft in production. The majority of hivean forces are located near the borehole cluster. Deirdre has begun construction of the "Cyborg Factory"... Now, who has given her access to Mind/Machine Interface? The uncontrolled spreading of high-end technology is of great concern to the University...

O yes... The Atlantean Government wishes to make clear to Planetary Governor Rubin that as far as this government is aware of there is no ban on distributing, selling, nor providing technology to other factions save for the restrictions agreed upon between factions under aforementioned methods.

This said, the Royal Palace has quite recently expressed a similar message towards our Prime Minister and the Chamber of Trading.
