A Magical Moment...

Basically reviewers have hailed this game as a new Diablo style game which I cannot comment on since I haven't played that game.
When you start up a new game, you choose which character you would like to play - there are six. Off my head, there's the gladiator (pure brute force, can take a lot of hits), serphanim (sp?) (warrior angel which have magic and combat skills), wood elf (ranged fighter), drow (battle mage type), vampiress (which looks very promising, apparently you can be a vampire at night and a knight during the daytime if I am correct), and one more which I can't recall at the moment.
Each has their own background, starting location, abilities, and so on.
In the demo you only can pick either the gladiator or the angel. The gladiator starts in a fighting pit in some town and the angel start out at a monastery.
The interface seems similar to Divine Divinity (I hope I got the title right). There's inventory, map, logbook, and so on. There are special combat moves and spells (depending on your character) and there are combos but the demo didn't touch on that (so far I know). You will be using the mouse a lot in this game, that's for sure. It's used to talk to people, fight, pick up loot, and so on.
There are main quests and side quests you can choose to do or not. The spoiler below is some of quests I did as the gladiator...
spoiler(highlight to read): Since you have been in the fighting pits for a long time and managed to survive longer than most gladiators, the head honcho wants you to fight one more time so you do that. Unexpectedly there's this battle ogre coming in after you've killed your enemy - the head guy was trying to get you killed so he wouldn't have to pay you. Then there's a slave revolt and in the chaos you meet this spy from the Crown. The second quest is that you protect him while he helps you to break out due to his lockpicking skills and you have to escort him to the royal garrison in the next town - the roads are filled with goblins. When you complete that, the captain of the garrison is impressed with you and wants you to join a borderland garrison to the south to help to defend the lands from orc invaders. I didn't get around to that, I took on couple of side quests such as delivering a message which turned out to be a part of a secret conspiracy among noble houses, escorting a nobleman and his bodyguard to a town, kill off a wolf pack that has been killing a farmer's livestock, and find a blacksmith that has disappeared...

One nice feature is that you can keep track of your quests in the logbook which is done automatically for you. Also on the map, there are arrows pointing toward your objectives. You know how sometimes you have to find someone to talk with and it's annoying trying to find that person. Not in this game, on the map you can tell which persons are part of quests and which are just NPCs wandering around.
The link I provided said that the game is the only one so far that has the feature in which you can purchase (or rent?) a horse to ride and you can fight from the horseback. I can't vounch for this since I haven't played much computer games.
I think I've covered a good part of what I know so far. So far this game is very interesting and I'm considering making this my next buy. Since I have a full time job and stuff to do I don't have that much time to play computer games so I have to consider my buy carefully. Now I'm torn between this game, Diablo 2, Dungeon Siege (Jamski, did I spell it right? ), and Divine Divinity
Anyway, Dis (and anybody else for that matter too), I will be more than happy to email you the demo set-up exe file and if that's not possible I can look up the URL where I downloaded it from.
