	Nominations for September Election Put an end to popups!

My term is up on the 10th. (These nominations will be closing on the 4th, and the election starts on the 7th.) It's been fun and it's been hellish, but I won't be running again; I only have so much time I want to devote to DGs right now, and I think some of my smaller teams need me more.

So, who will step up?

I can't remember when exactly he's leaving and officially resigning. If it's close enough, it'll be for the rest of his term AND the following term.

Yes well we're going to have a problem since I leave this sunday and I'll make my resignation effective as of next turn.

I thought that my resignation would "bump" the terms for the consuls another month but I don't know if Kloreep would actually want that.

Yes and as soon as BF is elected he is going to appoint me to something important and then he and I are going to plan the trashing of GCA with CFC over at the embassy thread.

Might as well do something fun in this game. Not many seem to give a $hit anymore

well guys, this is my last post in the ISDG forum for quite some time. As of this instant, I officially renounce the consulship and become but a humble citizen.

I already said all I had to say before, but I just want to leave with the hope that someone will step up to fill me or Kloreep's shoes. Unfortunately demo games at this stage of the game, and with such ruthless attention to detail may appear daunting at first, but eventually you get the hang of it. Our team needs people capable of taking us to victory, a victory which despite seeming impossible is not yet out of our grasp.

Ah PANTS. You're saying I'm the only Consul whose term is not currently up?!

Damn - guess I know what I'll be doing for this week. My main impediment is knowing what to do with our flotilla. I inherited it after hoping I wouldn't have to deal with what I argued against, in a way. Well, playing the turn and Domestic issues are fine - but I'll need all the help I can get on what to do with our restless warriors.

Indeed; my term is up, and MZ is resigning about 1 month before his term ends since he won't be DGing while over in Europe.

I plan to stick around, though, even if I'm not in an official position.
