For those that don't know, this sunday I will be leaving for Switzerland. I will be there for 3 months and all I know right now is that I will NOT have internet access at least during thef first couple of days/weeks. That means no Civ for me

GoW will need a new emperor. I was kinda hoping to continue at least until the war with Lego but unfortunately this won't be possible. Right now we are in a cruical point in which our buildup is fast and precise so that we can meet the timetable (10 turns from now give or take a few turns)

Whoever steps up I will provide a detailed spreadsheet on exactly what the hell we're doing with the buildupp since we are doing a lot of rushes/disbanding-for-shields/worker adding so that we can get as many units built as possible (currently we're at 8 1-turn 100-shield units plus other cities doing more builds). Fortunately our spaced out cities do not require much WF managment and since all our territory is now improved we only use workers for pollution and for growth.

In short, it's not THAT complicated

I know stepping up to lead a demogame at such late a stage can be a daunting thing (hell I found it daunting to take over in the late middle ages) but we really need someone now to take charge. We should also work to get as many people involved as possible. Perhaps the emperor doing the economics and having someone else as a military advisor. Diplomacy is not very active, just chats with ND and occassionally GS and that is all we really need.

Also, Darekill from ND is also finishing his term so there'll be new leadership down south of the border too. I will soon post a major thread on EVERYTHING you all need to know to make things easier.

So, any volunteers?

While I would still love to take over, I'm afraid my life is not going to allow it. I'm lead on a new project for the next 2 months at least, working late each night and 6 days/week. Somehow in there I got to dig up and replace 4 window wells at home before the end of September, Paint 3 rooms in the next 2 weeks, and till my garden so I can actually grow things next year. Most days I don't even boot up the home computer unless I'm aware of a PBEM that I'm holding up.

I might be able to take over, but this next week is rather hectic for me... moving back to school. I'm going to be busy there too, so I would prefer not to become emperor again but if I have to... :shrug:

Ok, at the very least I need someone to take over for the 1-2 weeks in which I will be looking for somewhere to live and getting internet access. I DON'T think I will need more than 2 weeks for all that.

A 2-week plan should not be too hard to make, I would give that person full orders on what to do.
