I am on my way our of town, not sure of internet access tonight or tomorrow (though back tomorrow night).

I had hoped to post my orders before I left (today) but no turn posted yet.

If 24 hours have passed and I haven't posted, go ahead without me, but hopefully I will have the opportunity to post sometime after the update is done.

Got GC's change, but was at the golf course yesterday afternoon, and I only have the current "help files" at the work computer, although I have been sending them home for the weekends.

Turn 8: Getting close to the final lap.

Rah and jonny continue to battle is out on the long path while Sparrowhawk and Gamecude64 dodge each other on the short end. Racers should be able to keep a pretty good speed all the way to the finish.

Hmmm..... 7 squares takes me to the edge of the jump. Is it worth accelerating?

I think that if rah or Jonny had asked to jump the gap sideways and you had refused, then it would have been entirely fair, but I'm disappointed not to be allowed to do it, having come up with the idea. Mind you, the way things are going I probably still wouldn't win.

No but had you accelerated hard last turn, and with a little foresight, you could have accelerated this turn and made the second jump. You and Ram have so many WC at this point that it is silly.

And I did consider letting you do it, but the others could have don the same thing in on the left and that would not have been fair.

Damn, didn't know that we had approved the multiple wc for direction. Poor planning on my part. I knew we talked about it, but didn't remember. I would never have slowed down. It does reduce a lot of need for strategic thinking.

Direction and speed, you can blow them all on one turn if you wish.

It's a little late for that for me. *sigh*, I guess I'll pay more attention next time. But I guarentee that the next race I host will have the old restrictions. Never have to brake doesn't require much strat.

Maybe you have an idea though. Multiple accels and breaks allowed, but not multiple R's or L's, to really give that feeling of accel'ing out of the turns and braking hard into them.

Kuci, no the launch ramps are higher than the land ramps...you'd crash.
