Hmmm...don't have Jonny's orders and this is another one of my half days to go golf. Not likely that he'll make it, but, I think I can do this from home tonight without a problem.

Maybe he wasn't planning on sending orders this turn, sitting idling on the track and giving the rest of us a chance to catch up?

Turn 10: "The Home Stretch."

Had some issues with GC's orders this turn, tried to work them out, but could not figure it out, so he crashed. His orders are posted, but the nearest thing I can see that will work is.

AR(M5)L(L+1)M which is pretty far off what he sent. That would have put you one space in front of Sparrow.

Should I assume that is what he meant, or do I keep him where he is at?

Duke's orders of:
(A)MMMMMMMM(M+3)(R)
were also confusing, and were interpreted to be
A(A+3)(10M)R

(Note GM hopes that Duke will get the hang of this strangeness that we call orders).

Rah is still apparently kicking himself for braking, and Jonny looks to be in perfect position to take this one home.

Not sure it matters at this point given where Jonny is on the track, but shouldn't I be one more square Southeast of where I am now?

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Turn 11: "This one is over."

I see no reason to continue, Jonny has this one wrapped up. He has already sent orders for next turn and no one will catch him. Rah takes second, Sparrow takes third, and GJ comes in fourth.

On hindsight, I should have had more sharp turns and made the racer have to syop on the finish line to win (I'd have to move it a bit). Also would not do as many paths next time since some were not even used, and it is not easy laying-out a track.

Congrats Jonny!

Great Game Spaced (though my first, so I lack a frame of reference).

One thing I didn't care for though was the split tracks being for such a major portion of the race, I don't mind the idea of the track splitting, but I would have preferred if it merged again shortly after. After splitting this felt more like a race against gjramsey and Gamecube with the other 3 on their own track (and considering the 3 involved...maybe that was appropriate ), I think I would have liked to see how I was doing against the other racers before the race was a foregone conclusion.

I will be back though.

Congrats Jonny.

I wish I would have been paying attention to the rules, and never touched my brakes. I might have been able to take you.

But Well DONE>

And yes, the split track did make it feel like seperate races. And due to early lack of exposure, I felt there was really only one way to go since i could see a few turns out.

Well played everyone.

The race seemed a little bit short, though... but I suppose it's better than 50 turns long. The split track did indeed make the one race feel like multiple seperate races. And I'm not really a big fan of these complex concealed split tracks, as that seems to make the race more dependent on choosing the right track, and not on skill. (Not that it isn't already largely luck-based!)

I suppose I should GM the next one, if no one else wants to...

You were headed south. your orders were to move to and then R which put you at your current location, then the 3M took you off the track, only by moving the R to infront of the 2M was I able to keep you on the track.
