	Vel's Labor Day Weekend Progress Diary.... Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

'k....in the spirit of providing more timely updates, I'm starting this thread which will chart my progress from now till the end of my long weekend (yes, I know...the weekend doesn't start till tomorrow after work, but cut me some slack here... )

So! To that end....we're off and running, and for my first bit of news:

* Made cosmetic changes to the text of the nine (9) World History events that exist right now (currently residing on our top-secret dev forum, here on 'poly). Agonized over word choices, corrected a few minor typos, and junk like that.

* Thought of a few new interlude screens, and duly jotted them down in the appropriate thread.

and now, I'm off to pop a few tylenol and continue slogging thru the Prelature events in the main engine!

* corrected a duplicate event name problem on the master event list (a prelature event was named the same thing as one of the spymaster events)

* posted the first six prelature events (19 to go!)

* At work this morning, caught up on forum responses, and now, I must actually do some of the stuff they're payin' me to do, so I can cut outta here early and go arrange to get my brother a car! Once the daily chores are done, will be back into the thick of Candle'Bre!

Aaaaaaand they're off! Got the Candle'Bre soundtrack queued up for inspiration, a kickin' Team Candy Wallpaper to look at while I'm thinking, and I'm ready to rock! Round one:

* Seven new Prelature events up and cooking! (12 to go, if I'm counting right) WhoooHoooo!!!! Let the Candle'Brewing begin!

* Also posted an "easter egg" event just for $hits and giggles over in the discussion thread...

Saturday's Crusade marches on, and all of the events from the Magical series are now posted for your reading pleasure!

Only one more big category, and five small remaining, and the basic event list will be DONE!!!!!!!

(categories left to do are: Honor (10 planned), Infamy (10 planned), Kahuna (10 planned), Small Fry (10 planned), Magocracy (10 planned) and Triggered Provincial (26 planned).

After taking a timeout to recuperate from this latest marathon, I'll dive headlong into the Triggered Provincial group and knock them out, so all we're left with are the smaller groups.

Woot! I'm taking a break....

EDIT: Also went in and added all the needed section headers to the Fate Event thread so that the skeleton is in place as the events go live....still gotta move the early stats out of Prelature, but that'll be AFTER breaktime!
(Counting 'em down: of the events planned, we've only got 76 more to do!!!)

Late night update! AG has a HUGE first day on the job, fleshing out both the Honor AND the Infamy events.....and I mean he totally PWNED them, too!

Check 'em out...they're posted now!

EDIT: AG just began work on the Magocracy events, and I've got a decent start on the Triggered Provincials, so I suspect there'll be more cause for celebration tomorrow....for now tho, I'm off to catch a few winks....was up almost till the sun peeked over the horizon last night, and am getting too old to do it twice in a row!

* Back into the fray! The early morning hours of this Sunday have seen the first nine of the events in the Triggered Provincial series go up....have a peek! (these include a newly added event to the set, nudging the total for the set to 27)

* Sunday proved not to be as productive as I had originally hoped, as the House of Vel set to received Floridian refugees, fleeing the wrath of Frances. Nonetheless, I got a bit of behind the scenes work done for Master Hex, did a little pen-and-paper sketchwork on some more of the triggered provincials, bought my brother a car, and got an e-mail from AG on the Magocracy event set, which I'll put up in the Act of Fate thread this afternoon.

Got a bit more behind the scenes work to do for Hex, and then, will turn my attention back to the triggered provincials. Once those are done, we'll be a mere 20 events away from having the basic engine fleshed out.

The Crusade continues!!!

* More behind the scenes work done with Master Hex on some of our upcoming screenies

* Got the Magocracy set from AG, and duly posted them....only three more sets to do (Triggered Provincial, Kahuna, and Small Fry). Will do everything in my power to get those knocked out TODAY, to meet my stated goal of having the basic event list wrapped up before the long weekend is over!

Steaming ahead!

All of the Triggered provincial events are now posted! And, they expanded from 26 to 32 as some really interesting and dynamic new content was added...check out the storylines for the Kellen series and Trentare....pretty good stuff, methinks!

Only twenty more events to go, and the Basic Event Engine is done!!!!!

Off with me, to do the Kahuna and Small Fry events (10 in each)....this is getting put to bed TONIGHT!
