Well, what Gareth says is correct. As soon as I get the ship graphics from him, the Jutland scenario will get done quick. In the meantime, I work on other things.
And yes, I DID say WWII scenario. While it's true that there are a number of them out there, there are none that satisfy me. I will build one to suit myself, and it will be good because of that. I might, however, "borrow" extensively some of the wonder and improvement ideas from prior scenarios. The tech tree and rate will have to be very closely engineered to achieve the desired results. I've been looking closely at WWII threads here and scenarios that are on my HD to see what others have done. Oddly, I don't seem to have any of Curt's WWII scenarios. Curt, where can I get them?
I'm still torn, though.

Yes, Curt, I'd thought about something along those lines. Just estimating, the civs right now would be; Allied (USA, France, & GB), German, Russian, Italian, Hungary/Rumania/Bulgaria, and Yugoslavia/Albania/Greece. This selection gives some reason for diplomacy. There will be no Vichy regime. It will start in 1939 with the Germans and Russians poised to invade Poland. It will be made to play only as the Germans. I will attempt to make the conquest of Russia as close to impossible as possible. I will have to determine if a Spanish/Swedish/Turkish/Swiss will remain neutral if I give it Eiffel tower and no movable units. Poles will be allied units. All other neutrals will be barbarians and therefore likely to be invaded, including Norway, Dennmark, Holland, and Belgium. I am wondering if I could somehow create "neutral territory" like Eivind/Kobra did in his Norwegian Campaign scenario. This might use up a unit slot, but would free an entire civ, so it's worth looking into.

Sounds promising!
It might be worth putting the Germans or Soviets under a differnet civ than normal.
This would help stop the usual Barbarossa problem where Russia gets the 1st hit in...
I reckon given your attention to detail, this scen would be a
real classic to join your already superb resume of civ work...
The choice is yours -
