Scenarios from the community: ExodusII - The partition Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

This scenario, designed by Nani, is one of the very best I ever played: it gave me often the feeling that I was Israeli, fighting "le dos à la mer" against mighty and numerous forces coming from everywhere.
(I don't know the english equivalent for 'le dos à la mer': something like "having the sea right behind your heels").
I finally managed to conquer all objective cities in january 1950.
Details next post.

ATTENTION PLEASE : NEXT POST IS A SPOILER

Don't read this post if you intend to play this scenario within a few days or weeks (which I strongly advise ).

1) Early game (until april 1948):
2 priorities: keep West Jerusalem and try to unite somewhat the scattered cities owned by the Israelis. This meant sending some reinforcements into the holy city, and also conquering the 'missing' coastal cities between Tel Aviv and Yehi'am.
I also managed to deliver a uranium freight to Cyprus (which brought a nice delivery bonus).

2) Midgame (from may 1948 to early 1949):
MY GOD!
Fierce attacks everywhere: tanks, cavalry, infantry... you destroy one, there are ten more behind. What a fight for survival!
2 priorities: build as many Mossad units as possible (mostly for sabotaging purposes) and speed up research, in order to get (build or buy) some strong units to fight back.

3) Endgame
The possibility to buy strong units on the international market was very tempting, but I refrained and concentrated on the cheapest unit (artillery = 150g each), which allows efficient fighting if you use it combined with combat engineers ('Zion workers').
As expected, the Golan came last and the terrain was so rough that even pre-charged Zion workers met serious problems. The time had come to buy costly tanks and armoured cars, ... believe me they were badly needed (and I was so busy in the north that I almost forgot a tiny Egyptian 'Objective' village right in the middle of the Neguev ).

I am always impressed by the results you achieve in these scenarios, La Fayette. I can never seem to come up with the right strategy for new rules, units, terrains, etc. Consequently my results suffer.

Do you ever play ToT scenarios? There are a lot of impressive-looking ones out there, but I haven't made much headway in them.
