The right way to install? Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I have ordered Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire, and have also downloaded the version 4.0 patch. Are there any known problems in installation and/or installing the patch? Any advice would be gratefully received.

Well, start a search and download of the 5.0 patch as well (XP compatibility patch).

Problems can occur if you have a new system with XP, your CPU may not be supported. In most cases it is no problem AFAIK.

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

It fixes some bugs and adds some new ones. It is the play by email (PBEM) standard around here, sou you should probably still install it.
