Heya, starting to wrap up a great Mesopotamian game, and think i'd like to start another. I sadly didn't begin that first game, but rather jumped in the middle, so I'd like to play one all the way through.
Anyone interested? I'd like a decent pace, although the advantage of the scenario is it moves very very fast, so you don't have to wait nearly as long to get into things ...
I'd take the Hittites, the Phoenicians, or the Babylonians, in that order. But i'm not that picky, so just post that you're interested and jump on in. 
It'll probably be played at Monarch difficulty. For all that matters. We'd follow "common sense" rules, with not as strict as Iron Civer limits on contact (ie, i'd say anything goes as long as you're not lying outright in game, so if you're allied with someone you shouldn't be at 'war' with them at any point during that alliance, and the other way around), and "on your honour" not to use any exploits. Basically, a fun game, not too many rules. (Maybe Conmcb will play!  )

Ahh, not bad then, i got it close to right 
Hmm, in terms of playtimes, i know that Witt plays all the time, Beta plays lateish or earlyish, Soltz plays lateish, Dauphin i haven't a clue... I play earlyish or evenings, con plays whenever Italians are awake this month and then after me usually, and Rhoth, you play sort of whenever i guess, but you before beta works well.
IE, unless Dauphin plays only in the middle of the afternoon (US CDT), we're golden. Even then, we're ok, as I will just play a turn at 7pm or so then.
Something like:
Me- 5am
Con-7-8am
Rhoth-sometime during the day
Beta- after Rhoth, evening
Wittlich-sometime during the evening
Soltz - late night
Dauphin - ? Maybe at night, maybe in the day
Me - either 5am, starting the sequence over, or 7pm, meaning con and rhoth hopefully play quickly thereafter
Sound good?
BTW, rhoth, don't try playing your strategy against (good) AIs. I tried it, and got slaughtered, when after ONE wonder was completed, science just ahead of the others, and I had enough military to protect me from 2 enemies ... 4 of the 6 comps ganged up on me Dang AIs pay better attention to the VP count than humans
