Imperial Palace, Germany, builds pyramids, says travellers
Travellers in Cordoba reported today that the German City of Imperial City has completed its massive project, known as the pyramids. Named after the mathematical figure, three pyramids were constructed in the city's square this year. One, known as the great pyramid stands hundreds of feet in the air. The purpose of these huge temples is for storage of the German King's family upon passing. There are rumors as to whether or not slave labor was used in its construction, however either way, this is a testimant to the great architechts of Germany.
Eurasia-Africa Pact signed in London!
Word from the east has the Eurasia-Africa pact signed in London late in 175 b.c. The signers of the pact, the Germans, English and Americans are said to be very optimistic about the chances this has for development in those three nations.
War in South East Asia?
Reports from our Japanese friends have a war taking place in South East Asia, according to early reports the war arose in a dispute between the Metalheads (allies of the Japanese) and the English, who contend that while the King was replaced with one of his first cousins, the Metalheads attacked his nation. There is no word yet on what the newly formed Eurasian-Africa pact intends on doing, but the Pan American Alliance has made this statement:
"The atrocities of the English in Asia shall not go unpunished, we will begin aggressions towards all members of the Eurasian-Africa Pact until this fiasco is settled peaceably, if they cannot come to peaceful terms, war will reign in Asia"

In the year 75 B.C. English soldiers, without warning or a formal declaration of war captured the Metalhead city of White Zombie. The American government has formally announced that they will remain allied with English forces but not support either side in the conflict. The English government has yet to take responsibilty for this act of treachory.
The Eurasia-Africa Pact between the people of Germany, England and the United States of America celebrated 150 years only to see it shattered when the English so blatently violated it. The American government has publically stated, "We have addressed the situation, we shall keep our alliance with England but we do not support and condemn her actions. We shall remain neutral in this conflict." The Pan American nations responded by condemning both the English actions and the American reaction to it. The Germans however (the third party in the Eurasia-Africa treaty) have cancelled their alliance with the English and since sided with the Pan American Nations.

Formal report of the White Zombie Rebellion:
I am writing this report from System of a Down, which is where, with heavy heart, i was forced to flee to after the forceful takeover of my city, White Zombie. During my tenure as Mayor of White Zombie i was sure to attend to the needs of all citizens of that fair town despite thier choosen musical preference. I had believed that those citizens who preferred easy listening to Metal were content.
After many years of peace in the region, recently English troops moved into the area surrounding and adjacent to White Zombie. I welcomed their envoy and we discussed possible treaties. This rude man had the audacity to demand we provide him with technological secrets in exchange for an alliance. Do to the hostility of the English in the past and due to their present hostility, I declined their offer for an alliance. The english diplomat then again demanded we provide them with the secret metalhead knowledge of Literacy in return for a peace treaty. We declined and informed him that the metalhead kingdom has no desire to cower before others and submit to their threats. The pompus English have the false assumption that they are somehow More Human Than Human, and deserve special consideration. In the interests of peace I offered a tributeless peace treaty which they declined.
I set about to notify the rest of the world of English hostility in SE asia, but due to slow communications at the time it was too late.
All things seemed black on that fateful night, even the Blood, Milk and Sky seemed somehow sinister. The Sunshine was truly Black that day.
Late at night on Tuesday March 27, 75 bc the English forces Returned their Phantom Stranger, this time under less friendly pretenses. From the reports i've obtained it seems that the diplomat met with known dissident, Kenny G, and paid Mr. G a tidy sum of money to recruit from other dissidents living in White Zombie and to take over the city. Mr. G did just that, and surprized my guards slaugtering many and replacing them with his own. Mr. G then opened the city doors and allowed the English dogs to occupy the city.
I have received reports that the Metalhead ethnic majority are being tortured and indiscriminatly executed under the new reign of Lord Kenny G.
Things as common as urinating on stage and setting musical equipment on fire are being deemed crimes under the iron fist of Kenny G.
I will provide more details as they become available.
I recommend swift military action to liberate our opressed people of White Zombie.

I am TheNothing, the powerful Ruler of the Germans. Through out the ages, my people have lived in peice, spreading through out the lands. The First of my friendly counterparts i met, was the Great leader of the Americans. We made piece, and our two happy civillizations grew together happily. Soon Enough English emisarries were met, with German horesman, riding to explore for treasures to send back home to the mother land. We made and alliance, more so on pretense to benifit our two supremely powerful Nations. English Automaticly grew hostile, and uncooprative. Thus letting English Troops march in. Such an act, has been deemed horrific. Currently, Many world opinion has forced me to announce that upon The Keeping of White Zombie, My German People Shall Declare war upon the English. And so it will then Begin, The greatest nations in the world, The Nothing and his people, and Common, and His English Followers, shall be plunged into the biggest war, of our deer planet. Because of an act of Violance. I wish to avoid such a conflict. All that must occur, is the returnal of my allies Great city, to its rightful Owner.

Real Madrid builds Marketplace!
Real Madrid, the capital of the Iberian Federation has finally completed construction of its "Bazaar Plaza" market place. Fielding goods from all over the world (primarily Japan) the Bazaar looks to open trade and monetary funds to the empire. Trade Advisor Dominic Morena said "This new marketplace should create more cash flow for the Federation, and thus result in better lifestyles for all Spanish, as well as its allies in Japan." Shopkeeps are said to be very optimistic, citizens and Toledo and Lisbon are pushing for similar markets in their respective town squares.
Spanish Tax surplus on the rise!
With the growth of Lisbon, Cordoba and Real Madrid, the Spanish Tax surplus has shown a 200% increase. Some experts believe this was due to the construction of "Bazaar Plaza" in Real Madrid, but others give the credit to population boosts in these three Spanish cities. Market experts believe that Valladolid will add to the growth of the Spanish coffers, as the city has already grown within twenty years of its construction. Adding to the Federation's income should be a trade road being built between Lisbon and Real Madrid, which should produce more citizens and new families moving into these areas.

Saragossa Founded
As Spanish soldiers march into Canada, new territory consisting of mainly forests and ice have been discovered, and a new city of Saragossa has been founded in this northern land. While the surrounding area is very cold and desolate, Saragossa was founded near a rich Lake, which will be henceforth known as Lake Saragossa. The city was built in a clearing of forest near the lake, and will serve as a northern capital of the territory of Canada.
Brave Warriors survive Barbarian Onslaught
A band of brave Warriors on an expidition into the northern Canadian territory confronted a large hoard of Barbarian horsemen. Feeling they would be defeated, and Warriors fortified their position and thankfully fended off all eight garrisons of the Barbarian forces, barley making it back to Saragossa alive to revitalize themselves. The Saragossans celebrated with a feast in their honor. Soldier Guadalupe Diaz had this to say "They surrounded us on the river bed, we were forced to stick out our spears in defense, luckily we fended them off, a great deal of us died that day, I was very close to a few of them, and I am very thankful to god that I made it back to Saragossa alive."

Eurasia-Africa Pact finished?
Early reports from overseas say that the Eurasia-Africa Pact has been killed in its infancy. The result of the English invasion of White Zombie was the crumbling of the very strong Eurasia-Africa Pact. As English forces marched into White Zombie, German and Metalhead emmissaries were in talks discussion actions against the English forces in Indochina. After the announcement of a German-Metalhead alliance, the Americans quickly backed down from their agreement with both Germany and England, and chose a position of neutrality in the conflict. Which begs critics to agree that the Eurasia-Africa Pact has been terminated due to the conflict in Indochina.
PAA to aide Metalhead forces in Asia?
Reports from Real Madrid today concluded that the house of lords agreed to send Spanish troops into Asia as a means of resolving the situation with the English and Metalheads. Don Pablo Diego of Valladolid disagreed with the decision calling it "A misinformed decision to help a nation we know nothing about." However, Don Francisco Pizzaro, who consequently will be leading the forces into Asia had a differant opinion "We have signed an alliance with Japan, they are helping the Metalheads, therefore we shall help Japan fight, we do not wish for our relationship with our Japanese brothers to go sour." said Pizarro.
Don Diego fired back saying "We are not in a position to invade a country, we have many issues here in Iberia, for one we have to settle the great river, and establish our territory over all of North America. We must also set up proper colonies in other areas for trade, we cannot concern ourselves with some Asian scuffle!" Despite the concerns of Don Diego, Iberian troops are setting sail from Barcelona for an invasian of Asia.

Why are we fighting in Asia?

I don't get it? Do you? Why should we send brave Iberian men to fight for a country we know nothing about? Sure we have thier maps. Sure we know of their dedication to thier music, and sure we know they were greatly wronged. But other than that, what does Iberia have to gain? We will definantly lose men over this struggle. The only thing I can see Iberia getting out of any intrusion in this conflict is land. But we have plently land that has yet to be settled here in North America, and while the PAA agreement clearly outlines all of North America for Iberia, I still must disagree with ignoring quick settlement. The house of lords has dropped the ball on this situation, we have a lot of reforms to make, and charging Iberian men into battle over some city in Indochina is not a good one. There are plenty of fertile lands here in North America that would not cost Iberian lives in the process. Leave Asian battles to the Asians. We should not fight in Asia!

Straight out of the rumor mill, word has it that Paulo Lorenzo's nephew Phillip II of Hapsburg may be next in line for the Iberian throne in the upcomming session. Rumor also has it that Phillip is not too keen on action against the English. Rumors are abuzz as to the next Iberian settlement in America, some say we will settle the banks of the Missisipi, while others say that the great plains have yet to be completley tamed, this reporter believes that the next best place to settle would be the South East Coastline, we must establish more than two ports in that area if we are to be a worthy Naval force. Rumor from the Lorenzo camp also says that our King Paulo Lorenzo III is heavily considering transformation to a Republic when means come available, the royal house is abuzz with complaints, as the Hapsburg family does not want to lose its foothold over Iberian relations. Does somebody smell a Revolution? I am Maria Ruiz and that is what's going on in the house of Lords.

Minutes to House of Lords meeting in Real Madrid...
I. Issue to invade Asia due to wrongful activity by the Sovreign State of England against the Sovreign Metalheads. King Paulo Lorenzo III presiding.
II. Don Jose Diaz Castilla; King Lorenzo of Hapsburg, clearly the conflict in Asia must be resolved. The world looks to the PAA to settle the conflict where the Eurasia-Africa Pact could not. We must show that we are steady as a pillar, that we will not allow tyrannical activity of this nature to occur. The English have severly bludgeoned the civilized tie that binds, they have shown great aggressivness towards the peaceful Metalheads, and expect it to die down. It shall not die down, this egregious attack against civilization shall not go unnoticed as the Americans wish it to, we will send Iberian soldiers into battle, and they will come back victorious!
III. Don Diego of Valladolid; King Lorenzo, to think that sending Iberians into Asia to die is going to settle matters between the Metalheads and English is absurd. The English soldiers may have been wrong in their actions, but this does not warrent a wrong decision by the House of Hapsburg. Our family has been founded upon the merits of civilization, there is no purpose killing of brave and darring soldiers in order to further the gains of this family. We have plenty of territory to gain here in America, and despite the fact that you, great King Paulo Lorenzo III has made agreements with other nations. Our nation has yet to develop enough to send a force of men accross the Pacific in attempts to conquer. I plead with his majesty Lorenzo of Hapsburg to decline the military's attempts at invasion of Asia.
IV. Don Francisco Pizzarro; Sire, as head of the military for the Iberian Federation. I implore you to help crush any imperialistic ideas of the English dogs! They are a terrible lot, their tyrant King Common Terry, is an evil man. He wishes to torture the peace loving Metalheads in Indochina and continue his treck through the polynesians islands surrounding Australia. If we let this continue what's next? Genocide in Japan? Baja California? We musn't let this madman reign supreme. We must crush him when he is beginning. Please my Lord, support action against England.
V. Decision of King Lorenzo III of Hapsburg is to continue action against the English, however the situation will be reviewed upon arrival in the Asian theatre of war, as well as future talks with the Japanese and Metalhead empires.

Ozzy with a hard head of metal asked for the English city of Leeds. He told me it was within the city radius of White Zombie. LIAR! It is 4 squares away. We now understand Ozzy stole all his metal ideas from the Who's Live at Leeds album. This is why he demanded leeds, rock greed! Ozzy is indeed hard.
For hundreds of years I went on vacation and the AI ran england. Germany and Ozzy were at WAR with the sad little AI when i returned. The Germans offered peace. Ozzy continued to demand Leeds. White Zombie was purchased for less than 200 gold. It is far from Austrailia. Southern Asia shall be all English.
Demand our city, and we will take yours.

"Shinto" The people are very pleased with your wise descions. Giving them places to worship was indeed a good idea. Before the people cried to the gods now they sing in praise at the foot of the glorious statues. Perhaps a gathering of knowlege would be suffecient, your greatness.
"Moker" Indeed, our people are in need of a place in which to learn of our alphabet.
"Shinto" Would it not also be wise to improvise on our nets and sails of our fishing fleet.
"Moker" Ahh there still is much you must learn young one. I have already begun designs on a new fishing fleet. A man from our northern province came to me a few weeks ago. With him he brought he piece of cloth from one of our border colonies. He said this cloth is made out of an animal which comes from the jungle, he also explianed that the locals have been rasing this animal demostically for quite some time.
"Shinto" So what does this have to do with the design of our new fishing fleet?
"Moker" Ahh you see Shinto this is no ordinary cloth. It is three times as strong as the finest wool that we can produce here. This cloth is also half the wieght, and can be woven into strong tight threads. When i learned of this i imediatly dispatched an envoy to the city with orders to prodouce this cloth and the strands, and then ship them to the port, there men are working on the boats and ineed of the matrials to finish the fleet.

Iberian Federation expands!
The Iberian Federation has expounded upon its empire recently, adding Cadiz, Granada and Bilbao to its realm, including the city of Saragossa in Canada which has grown extensivley. Thus, new strides in technology and monetary income were the resulting effect. Newly appointed lords to these areas or Don Phillip De Aldo of Aragon, Jose Piedra of Hapsburg, and Pablo Magilora of Hapsburg.
Phillip II appointed new King
Paulo Lorenzo has abdicated the throne this past week, in charge is his nephew the plucky Phillip II of Hapsburg. Upon arrival to the royal palace, Phillip addressed members of the House of Hapsburg sitting behind him, as well as the large gatheriing of Iberian citizens in La Plaza Hapsburg in Reál Madrid this past weekend. Saying "I wish to refurbish Iberian pride, and to unite the states of the Iberian Federation into a well oiled machine: Militariliy, Territorially, Scientifically and Financially." When asked about rumors regarding Lorenzo's interest in a Federal Republic Phillip responded "At this point in time that is not the House of Lord's foremost concern, there are other more important matters." As of press time it is unknown what Phillip's feelings towards a Federal Republic are.
Knights of Mexíco D.F. put down Barbarian invasion
Two ships carrying garrisons of well trained Bararian Knights made their presence felt harshly in Central America. As the soldiers made their way to the Federal District of Mexico, Iberian Knights running rounds in the Great Plains were quickly called to the scene, the Valladolidian Knights quickly routed the would be conquerors, a feast was held in honor of these brave soldiers. The unit went on to establish a defense along the Panamá Canal, which will protect the natural Canal from non PAA intervention.

Despite attempts at peace talks by the Metalheads and numerous others, the situation in White Zombie has grown extensivley through the centuries, and has now engulfed the entire Eurasian continent. Reports are skechy at this time, however, it seems as if though Metalhead soldiers made early strides. Recapturing the city of White Zombie and placing former Mayor Rob Zombie back in his mayoral position. The Metalhead army went on to capture Leeds as well, but their victory would be shortlived as English troops recaptured the area, and re-established power within the Indochinan Penninsula. Word also has Germany suffering staggering losses in Eurasia, however capturing the English city of Richmond as the result of civil dissidents within the city. More will definantly become available as the situation resumes, but it does not look to be dying down anytime soon.
PAA Holds Meetings in Kyoto
The PAA has held official meetings in Kyoto recently, attending the meetings has been Don Francisco Pizzarro representing the Iberian army, as well as the former King Paulo Lorenzo III. The meetings were said to be very productive, as two seperate situations were resolved. The Iberians will serve as a peacekeeper in the Asian conflict, sending soldiers into the Indochinan War Theatre very soon. As troops arrive, Iberian officials will gain reports and look over the situation before making a final determination. Don Pizzarro said "The meetings went very well, as do all meetings with the Japanse, the PAA should have an official stance on the conflict within the year."
Valcore falls victim to Barbarian onslaught!
The German city of Valcore, located in southern Gaul has fallen victim to Barbarian invasions recently, despite this the German army did retake the city. This caps off similar barbarian assauls on southern Africa, which resulted in the loss of some American territory. Critics agree that these situations show how ill defended the Eurasian-African area is, and goes further to prove that in its current state, things look to get bloodier and bloodier.

A few changes have been made since the last map, the Russian empire seems to have more territory than was previously believed by Don Cortez. As do the Germans. The Metalheads have lost territory in Indochina, and the Americans have lost land due to Barbarian attacks. The Japanese and Iberians have grown peacefully within their own given continents...

What the hell is wrong with the English?Chui Morena
Have you been keeping up on the situation in Indochina? No? Well its been crazy. I have attended many of the so called international summits regarding the delicate situation. Believe me, they are the least civilized meetings on the planet, I have seen barfights more civilized than these meetings. But they discuss a very important topic. There are huge arguments from both the English and Metalhead camps regarding the issue. And you know what the big defense of the English is for their actions? That they were threatened! By who? A small island nation that can hardly develop properly due to its poor resources? Or the Germans who lose cities to Barbarians? Its time for the English to realize that there is nothing to fear from these nations, and that the alleged threats are merely empty arrogant threats. I can't understand how the English can condone their irrational behavior, there is no excuse for it. Meanwhile we have the House of Hapsburg- oops I mean "Lords" talking about some sort of investigation. What a load of bupkus. We all know its a ruse to send troops into the area, we all know the Hapsburg family wants more land to add to its territory, Iberian Federation my ass, more like Hapsburg Federation. Who DIDN'T think Lorenzo would pass the throne on to Phillip? Of course he would, they both want the same thing: Land. That's why we are sending "peacekeepers" to Asia, for land. Go ahead just ask Phillip himself, that is if you want to be tortured to death!

Okay, we are the Federated States of Iberia, the FIS. That's just fine. But why do we have a King? I don't understand it, we claim to be a Federation of States. And we have the so called House of Lords, but what is that? But all but one of them are from the Hapsburg family, and the King is a Hapsburg. I heard the rumors about why they abdicated Lorenzo, because he wanted a Republic, that doesn't sound bad right now. You know, an actual Federal Government. We are a Federated nation right? Wrong. I personally can't wait for this to happen, it will, I know it. The Iberians want it, so it will happen. Its just that, will the Hapsburgs give up their precious land so easily? I wouldn't bet on it.

If Germany gives back Richmond, we can have peace. (Even tho they shud have to pay for their obvious agression).
If India stops their threats and demands and stays out of asia, they can have peace.

We find this document fraught with errors, contradictions, and hipocracy. Nothing proves this more than this quote. In the same breath that the English government makes demands of the Germans for territory to be returned to it, it states that this mysterious nation of "India" (which is no doubt an English misinterpretation of the word "Metalhead" should stop its demands for territory to be given back.
Anyone with a clear mind can see the error in the logic used by the English ruler. Its call for peace with demands of a captured city returned to it, is identical to the peace treaty drafted by Metalhead diplomats 300 years ago.
The difference is that 300 years ago the English scoffed at the generous Metalhead proposal, and continued to attack peaceful Metalhead settlements. Clearly there is no peace for this evil man short of world-wide English domination.
The English have turned their nose at the entire world order and have disgraced the sacred convenant we all agreed to at our inception (diplogame rules). Their propensity to declare war 'willy-nilly' goes against the very foundation this planet was formed upon. And furthermore their refusal to discuss peace at any time or for any terms besides 100% English domination prove that King Common is a threat to the very fabric of our existance and should not be tolerated. Diplomacy is the only true way to succeed in this world, and King Common has made NO attempts at diplomacy this whole game.

Were it not for the fact that these statements ring hollow with more hypocracy than this King cares to describe I would praise King Common for his reforming. But since these are false sentiments indicate a great comtempt for the world order i have no sympathy for his fate.

I would like to also add an out of character comment about this game. It has come to my attention that many otherwise honorable players have taken to the practice of loading up the game and playing the save against the AI.
This is fundementally wrong and shall be deemed cheating if it continues. Although this is very fun game, and i too would like to go in and play it through a few times this results in the obtainment of much information that would otherwise, and rightfully so, remain unknown.
For those of you who i have talked to who told me you did this, i am not singling you out, because to my surprize this is turning out to be a more common practice than i had initially anticipated.
But this warning goes out to everyone in this game, if from this point onward playing saved games is continued it will be dealt with HARSHLY.
Loading up the save file and looking over YOUR civilization is perfectly ok, but playing the game through several turns can reveal many important things.
Please note again, that i bear no animosity to those who i have found have done this, and will take no actions regarding it, but i demand that this cease IMMEDIATLY for all those involved in this game.

The time has come. The Time has never been as it is now. The world has been plagued with a great war. In preparations to an English military build up, south of Gamorge. The German People prepared to post a pikeman armed with a catapult in the hills near the last once millitary held position. The goal, to make it evident, that that hill was the border between our two nations. Upon arrival, i am notified that my troops have ran into an English city. This city, was to be the start of the biggest event in History. The Eruption of war between the largest Nations in the world.
Upon noticing that my troops had stumbled upon English "claimed" Territory, and were not heeded the request to withdrawl, was attacked, ruthlessly, and with barbaric Style. I Decided enough was Enough. And Took Richmond.
Since then, a few stray brave soldiers in the search of desperately needed knowledge. Gave up their lives, in the search for information against a remarkable barbaric leader. The information has been deemed Valuable.
In Other Events, I have been notified, of a great internal unhappiness. The people of my civillization grow tired of war, and wish for peace. My people wish for more food, more entertainers, as they work so hard to earn them. It has spread through out the land, the great want, and need for this "Elvis". It has been said that he is more popular than I, the King, TheNothing. Baaa Impossible, and I refuse to be 2nd rated by my people. And so it is, that I have undertaken the greatest Project in all the history of the world. And so it is, upon the next year in my command. I shall reveal, the greatest, the most glorifying project in the world. Thus, making me, the one whom my people love. Not this, Elvis.
And a comment to the rest of the world, and those whom are trying to stay out of the fight. Many of you wish to side with me, and my Metalhead companions. Many are dead set upon remaining Nuetral. It was once told to me, that I could trust. That upon the proving of English treachoury that they would come to my aid, the Americans have proved who they truly are. Cowards. As they said, they would join the war in the event of treachury. They now do the opposite. Stand back, and try to avoid a bigger country, avoid a war that would cost them lives. Because they are afraid. Well, I am not afraid. I know when a brother is in need, and I have come to the aid of my dieying brother. I will smite the ruler whom causes pains to my allies. For I am Trully loyal. But alas, I am the only whom i have seen stand up to the barbaric leader, along side the peaceful Metalhead ruler.
But as for now, i must leave, for the preparations of my project are needed. For the great unvailing. But until i show my greatest work yet, I will say, ta ta.

Well, The Japanese, weren't a very powerful country when my regime took over. They still aren't, but the people needed change. The powerful RebelofChaos brought to the people of japan, Sun Tsu's War Academy, and Marco Polo's Embassy.
War enveloped the land...The evil english have been destroying the buety of all that lived. The PPA vowed to stop this menace...
The war has been going on.. with no end in sight, at least under the rule of England. Asia has been torn and almost nothing remains but desolation. The english people can't be happy... the king taking every penny the people earn with his 70% taxes.
The PPA tryed to hold a court hearing, with me in charge, I heard all of the testimonies relivant to the war. My proposal didn't get off for chaos flurished, and the American and English leaders stormed out of the proceding.
Japan has announced they will begin Operation Oxford. A plan to rid the world of England...
