Gentlemen of Apolyton and Batrachos:

I am writing to you unofficially (for now) in an attempt to garner your support for an official complaint I wish to submit to the administrators about the speed of play of both CDG and GWT, though by far, GWT is the more problematic party.

We are currently some 20-odd turns behind, and with the removal of a team in the other game, that is going to INCREASE, rather than decrease. It is conceivable that the other game could finish MONTHS ahead of us, and then the finals might well be put into doubt.

While I cannot guess at your own teams, I know my own team's participation and membership is suffering greatly due to the exceedingly slow - far behind once very five days - pace of play.

I would like to officially request SOME form of action - not just a warning - but an action, a proposal, some immediate measure be taken to increase the speed of this game, or I fear it may never be completed - nevermind the finals!

Please let me know as soon as possible regarding your feelings on this matter.

I feel that the game is not progressing all that slow, considering where and what is going on. It is just that the other team had their 3 civ continent gang up and go to war on turn 75 rather than 90 like we are doing.

BUT the rules clearly say 24 hours and if you dont meet it then the admins are supposed to do something.

Every once in a while is one thing but F-P has a point especially about the Germans.

I'm in favor of backing PAL on this proposal. They can be the "bad guys" who are protesting, but we should definately support them in it.
