	Handbook for Galciv Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

I have just been given an original copy (not pirated) of Galciv but the handbook was not with the cd.
Can anybody point me in the direction of a copy of the handbook. I would prefer downloadable.

On your CD there should be a Directory called "HTML Manual",
there you can find an electronic Handbook.

btw.
was a Serial Number included?
(in my Version it was printed onto the Paper Handbook of the Game [which is btw. not as good as the electronic Version ], that´s why I ask)

Without a Serial Number you won´t be able to get Patches for your Game.

My copy of the game did have a serial number, but there is no directory called 'HTML Maunal'.
Even if the handbook was on the CD I would still print it out so that I could refer to it whilst coming to grips with the game. It is just something that I am comfortable doing.
By the way, how big is the handbook (how many pages)?

You can get it at Stardock Central (http://www.galciv.com/sdcentral.html). You just have to register and download the SDcontrol centre software and it will update your manual and your game.

How many pages the electronic Handbook has is btw. difficult to say.

They programmed it more like a Website,
than like a Paper Handbook,
i.e. you´ve got a lot of different Topics, which can be accessed by Hyperlinks.

I´d rather advise you,
to download the unofficial Strategic Guide, which is written and maintained by GalCiv Fans.
It is a printer friendly pdf-File which btw. also has much more useful Informations than the official Manual (and also contains some nice Links, for example for a Tech-Tree in jpg-Format )

Firstly to Algernon Pondlife.
Thank you for thelink to Stardock Central. I have already been there but due to the fact that my connection is very slow (usually around 16 to 21kbps) a 6 Mb download would take several hours and as my phone cable is a rather old piece of copper wire disconnections are very common place. So that is why I had to take the other route to try to find a handbook per say which brought me to this forum site.

Secondly to Proteus_MST.
Thank you for the link. I have not as yet looked at it but it appears promising. When I have looked I will report back to le you know what I have found.
