Save is in.

We've moved off the road, sorry. It looks like CDG is going to try and plant a settler right in front of where our road is - not sure how we feel about that yet.

Polytheism is still available for you whenever you want it - estimate Construction done around turn 90, give or take.

We should aquire Polytheism sometime before PAL gets Construction, or at any point after we go to war on CDG.

We should also get Mapmaking about the same point.

My notes for the save:

Let's move Phobos II 7 and then 7 4 after that. I'd like to get a look at why the PAL forces are split up and what they're up to.

Cerebus's Keeper ought to patrol the PAL road and move onto it.

not sure what to do with Bel or Zeno. Maybe keep Zeno in the west to fend off any future barbs and send Bell home to join the gathering army?

con and ares can switch places.

Adjust WF in Naked to 5spt. Build 2 warriors there.

WF in PH needs to switch to 6spt NEXT turn. It only needs 11 more shields to finish building the Hoplite, and it's producing 5spt now. That would allow us to finish the Hoplite there in 2 turns, and then switch to either a warrior or another Hoplite immediately after.

Apolyton is now a natural 6spt, which means it should build horsemen or settlers. It has no barracks, so a settler build seems to be the logical choice. We should adjust the WF, to give it 6spt and 2fpt, giving it a settler in 5 turns, coming out on the turn of growth.

Adjust WF in Hypnos to 9spt (will be 8 after corruption) to give us horseman 1 turn sooner, and only waste 1 shield.

Fred & Barney ought to go 7 8 and then road that tile. We should build a city 8 9 9 from Naked, and then road 6 of it. THIS WILL BE ONE OF OUR TWO INVASION PATHS.

note: We could also build a city 9 9 9 9 from Naked. This would put us closer to CDG, put a city spot on a river and give it sugar in its radius. That city's culture would give us access to a whole mess of useable tiles. Any thoughts?

Tired of ads?

There are already some orders for units in the first post, and they relate to exchaning Warriors over like con-Ares, so these should really be done unless there is a very good reason we didn't forsee last turn.

Otherwise all as you say is good, Togas, and much of it follows my own thoughts from last turn.

As for the city, I think we should have the new one 9 9 9 9 of Naked, so we have at least SOME cities without immediate tile clash difficulties, as with Poly/Poseidon/Hypnos.

Bel could head back to join the invasion, I suppose. What I was thinking of was keeping him somewhere like Poly ready to go out and face off with more Barbs that could pop up. Bel is still only a reg.

Dont we want them both at the point we finish currency? To propell us into the next age?

Or do we want to get both as we start the war.

I can go either way, I just want to give F-P an answer.

The orders for Anthea and Con are missing

PAL have really great area to settle in and it is almost that far from their capitol as the meeting mountain.
I guess their worker is preparing the road for the settler(s) which will build their cities.
