save is in Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

The save arrived with some proposal:

quote:

Gentlefolk of Apolyton-

Wait, who am I kidding, you have no chick gamers....

Dudes!

Like whoa, I have this totally *****in' idea to run like, past ya y'know.

I'm thinkin, like, why don't I, y'know, whip together this message board, see - and while all of the registered PAL and APO folks can view the threads (no one not registered at the board can see anything, and we'd both submit lists of authorized viewers) only the Ministers, Diplomats, and Leaders can post there. It might be a nice, quick, and simple way to get stuff resolved, all out in the open where everyone can see it, and probably a lot faster than via this medium.

Anyhow, we like totally think this idea is funk'n grooooovin, and, s'hyeah, we'd like t'know whatcha think?

Whoa. Save attached, too.

*****in'.

Got spare money?

Orders added. Iron is connected now, so I recomend we start upgrading our warriors into swords. We can do 6 or so this turn.

Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

It's late here. I won't be playing the turn tonight, but I have the following proposed moves for WIA:

Valient 8 9

Cerebus 1 4
Phobos 2

Opressed Laborers and Douglas Adams ... why road and irrigate that tile? We really need help on the western side of our nation with roads and irrigation. Since we've already moved here, I'd propose that we road the tile, but that we then send them back through Hypnos to the Apolyton river to road and irrigate towards Stable, and to also prepare our future grapes city site.

De La Hoya 6 (he and Fred & Barney will work on the eastern invasion road to Minnesota)

I propose we move Bonehead and (next turn) Roads R Us to the horses, then build a road south to the river, and then road up grapes.

I don't mind us moving wf in Hypnos from the forest to the grassland (changing from 8spt to 7spt) SO LONG AS we do so next turn or the turn after. Don't swap it this turn.

To get a 30 shield swordman, we'll want to do 8 + 8 + 7 + 7. I always prefer to start with the higher shields first, then change to lighter shields later. I do this because if there's a mistake and someone forgets to switch the WF back, we don't lose a turn of production, we only lose a sheild or two. It's much worse to have 29 shields than 31 shields because you ultimately end up wasting more sheilds when you under produce and have to blow a full turn to make up for it.
