I don't like girls too blinged up either. A simple necklace can make a neckline even more attractive, and a ring or two don't do too much harm if they aren't too big but the rest is not necessary really.

I must admit AH I have completely the same view on the thing. Especially excessive jewelry which just looks ridiculous and completely vulgar.

Not too permanent. As the Black Knight would say: "It's only a flesh wound." In some cases insanity describes the military in a "nut"-shell.

They won't let me. Despite my perfect health, lack of drug use, and safe sex practices I can't give blood because I've had gay sex.

If I was a straight man who lived my lifestyle, they'd be taking my blood by the bucket. Hell, if I was a straight man who occassionally forgot to use protection while banging the local bikerchick while snorting cocaine through my eye, they'd still take my blood.

I've been wanting to give blood since I was 16 because it's one of those things that good, caring citizens in society do.

I also vote for a jewellery free existence, and no piercings, thanks very much. No tattoos either.

The odd thing is I like examples of the jeweller's craft in isolation (especially Art Deco/Art Nouveau and Renaissance jewellery) but I don't like it on people, and I can't stand modern gold jewellery- all those ' Shane' or 'Waynetta 4 evah' necklaces and bracelets.

Ugh.

A watch and cufflinks are the only pieces of jewelry I'd currently wear. I'll likely add a wedding ring when the time comes. No piercings, no tattoos - can't stand anything but ear piercings on females only (max two per ear) and tattoos are a no on anyone (although my fiancee has one, but she didn't get it while we've been together).

From a female point of view (which i realise means **** all in a thread like this, but ive decided to give it anyway) i would say the amount of jewellery that looks good on a man yet still hetrosexual depends entirely on what he looks like.

Some blokes wear necklaces, rings and god knows what else and can carry them off, whereas on some men that stuff looks really stupid. The only jewellery i have a problem with on men sometimes is piercings - but thats only cos they usually wear baseball caps and try to mug you (the people that is, not the piercings). Earrings look good on men when there's more than one and its done for a goth type look, but otherwise i cant help but see tham as thugs.

Jewelry

The only jewelry I'll ever wear is a wedding ring, and that will definitely be odd, at least at first.

Depends--- If I wore a watch, it would have to be because it is decorative-- I always carry my cell phone and it keeps better time so I hardly need a watch as a "tool"
