The following is a true story.
Once upon a time, I was dating a girl, but we broke up when she moved out of the city.

So me, I'd say this letter is a good thing. You're starting with her already out of the country, and interplanetary travel hasn't yet been invented. I'd say, you have her right where you want her.

That is pretty funny. Seems to me Zkrib, that if they ever do come up with interplanetary travel, you're due for a hard landing.

I had a few girls break up with me over the years on the 27th of January. Got so I wouldn't leave the house or answer the phone on that day.

The internet cafe never opened but BIT (Bohol Institute of Technology) has opened their own, just for use between 5PM and 8PM, when the students aren't in.

So, how are things going? Did your co-workers survive the ordeal of your absence? Sign the big contract?

Nope, the contract still isn't signed, but things got real interesting last month. We put forth a package of proposals which, if accepted, would have wound up the contract. The next day, we found out management had posted a non-union position to do our job. Two days later, we found out that, even though managment had been crying broke, they'd received a bunch of money from the state for employee raises. So we pulled our package off the table and posed a bunch of tough questions...like: WTF is going on?!? We meet again on Monday, and it'll be interesting to see what they have to say.

I heard about those storms that hit the philappines this past week. Hundreds dead. But I believe that was Northeast of Manila.
