Worker Orders

#1 Roads-R-Us – Follow Bonehed(?) I would have him go to stable and improve tiles there.
#2 Fred & Barny - Join De La Hoya
#3 Oppressed Laborers – Follow Douglas Adams, when free
#4 Bonehed (slave from PAL) - this turn we must decide whether or not to have Bonehed and Roads-R-Us complete a road to Apolyton or whether to head straight for the unconnected Wines West of Apolyton
Bonehead should go to the wines.
#5 Woodchuck - irrigating
#6 De La Hoya - continuing with the Togas plan, road, yes, road.
#7 Douglas Adams - I have no idea why he is here, but can we please move him out of the war zone now? I would have him start improving tiles in the homelands.

City Orders

NOTE: THE IRON IS NOW CONNECTED, SO KINDLY ASK PAL TO NOT SEND US ANY TECH FOR A BIT AS THAT WILL CAUSE ALL OF OUR WARRIORS IN THE BUILD QUEUES TO UPGRADE INTO SWORD BUILDS, AND IT IS BETTER FOR US TO BUILD WARRIORS THAN SWORDS DIRECT.

#1 Apolyton – wf – settler (done in 1), hoplite.
#2 Hypnos – wf Remember either this turn or next to change from the roaded grass to the forest so we are gaining 8 shields. This must be done for two of these next three turns to allow the Swordman to be done a turn earlier, switch this turn please - Sword (done in 3)
#3 Poseidon's Harbor - wf – new warrior, change to sword, sword
#4 Naked Aphrodite - wf - Turn one worker into a scientist, and then reduce the science rate to 0%. This gains us 3 extra gold per turn, so we will be at +16, and keep us on trakc for our currency tech in 33 turns. With one upgrade this turn, we have 16 gold in the bank, and 3 turns at 16 gold is 48, so we will just have enough to do one more upgrade prior to the start of anarchy. new warrior, change to sword
#5 Olympus - wf - granary (lots of time to effect a change if we choose, done in 51), settler
#6 Stable of Hermes– wf – Curragh (done in 6), ?
#7 Sidiros Lofos – wf – Warrior (done in 6)

Diplomacy To Be Completed

Send message back to PAL

Any Other Things To Be Done

Hook up second wines to offer to PAL

Negotiate border with PAL

Negotiate future tech trades with CDG

As for Bonehed and Roads R Us, I see no point right now in building a road West of the mountain to connect Stable of Hermes directly to Apolyton. As Togas says, improvements are badly needed near the Poly-Hypnos area, especially east of Poly, which is a prime spot for the city after next. I suggest we send both Bonehed and Roads R Us directly to Apolyton, where Bonhed can connect up another Wines and Roads can start on irrigation next to the river.

As for the AS Kitchen Sink, there has been no discussion or suggestions yet, so I was thinking of taking it to the NW tip and then proceeding south along our west coast to see what's there. The AS Valiant can easily explore to the east, near to PAL.

Also, Anthea should head West to explore that last part of PAL land near their core. That should be interesting...

And it will help me with my message to PAL about negotiating a border (which I unfortunately did not get to tonight due to having to play the save and catch up at Uni after last week's jury duty).

The save has arrived, and will be placed in the top post by me or someone quicker than me.

There will be no play until we have had input from at least 2x Consuls and GK. We just got it, so we can afford to wait until this time tomorrow if need be. Things are getting critically close to the time of invasion, and we must be working in full knowledge of what we are doing.

GK and others - the bold writing in the orders post is mine, and things that emerged from the previous turn as to watch out and account for.

Hey guys..

One minor side note this turn - we're moving a LOT of stuff around at the moment, so if you could make sure to keep that warrior (Anthea, I think?) passing through our lands heading directly south for the next few turns - just until you pass Partytown - we'd appreciate it. When you see the bottlenecks of our roads in the region you'll be passing through, you'll understand why.

We are on schedule in all regards, though we'd still like a chat in the near future if possible to finalize and ascertain all important upcoming event dates. Wouldn't do to stumble the timing.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Orders added. I request the consuls look at the move I did with the science slider and consider this carefully, as it allows one more sword upgrade prior to anarchy, but delays the sword produced in NA by 2 turns. This may not be a bad thing as we may not need him for the war anyways, but we will be streatching our treasury to the maximum.... it might be better to wait one turn prior to anarchy so we at least have a 10 gp reserve.

Our military as of (the beginning of) this turn:
7 warriors (2 are scouting far far away)
10 hoplites
6 swords
4 archers
2 canoes
2 horsies
and a partrige in the oven.... with some pears.

Under production are:
3 swords
1 warrior
1 canoe
1 settler

PAL asked that we keep off their roads. So no moving onto them in the next few turns, at least.

Besides, looks like Anthea should head 4 next turn anyways to check out that unknown land...

The northern curragh (Valient) is still circling the little island in a clock-wise direction. No new land or coastal waters found.

I was kidding, sorry -a stupid joke (again)
but when I moved the curragh 8 I have spotted a line of sea squares. I think that is a good spot to send some suicide galleys (together with the direction east of CDG)
