Well, Prescott shows that indeed lowering tax rates can increase revenues because people have the incentive to work more and the government will therefore have more hours of work to tax. No crackheads or "greater good" necessarily involved.

So beginning doctors and lawyers DON'T take vacations? Hell, they probably take more vacation days than their superiors (some partners are serious workaholics and are there from 8 to 8). Beginning associates and doctors are given a good number of vacation days so that they will take the job. As they move up in the company they will take less of those days off as the workload is greater.

Ned, considering that Cuba had to do with an embargo, its performance is honorable. It's amazing to see the lows America went to just to make sure that Cuba wouldn't have a chance of being successful.
