	Who's excited about GTA: San Andreas?? Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

So October 26th is the big day!!!!!!!!1
I swwear I would have sold my PS2 by now if it wasn't for hte gta franchise!
So what are you guys looking ofrward ot most in the new game? Least? How many f** ups do you think it will have?

I think the soundtrakc isn't going ot be as annoying htis time, adn I cna't wait to f*** up some motorcycle cops. I hope they have more motor cycles in this one, really in vice city, the crotch rocket, and the freeway were the only good bikes, the mopeds were fun for a bit, and the angel was crap, but that was the most common bike!!!

If the soundtrack is as excellent and well-researched as (parts of) the Vice City soundtrack, I might buy THAT, but not the game.

I sure hope you're kidding

I only listened shortly (the few seconds it takes to get into the car, til you've switched channel), but so far I've only heard one good song, while most songs where just annoying

Ok, it might have fit into the 80's, but I hate the 80's

Volume 5 of the soundtrack ("Wildstyle Pirate Radio") is seriously one of the finest single-disc Electro-and-Oldschool compilations I've ever seen. Well matched with the best of commercial releases in terms of depth and comprehensiveness.

For what I've seen of the others (I've only got volume 5) they're pretty good for their genres as well, excellent as historical documents and often with good music as well.

I think I'm going to pick it up eventually, but after basically almost two years of no good titles on PS2 I'm suddenly flooded by so many games I want to buy. Star Ocean 3, Shadow Hearts 2, Shin Megami Tensei 3, Metal Gear Solid 3, Phantom Brave, Growlanser Generations and maybe The Bard's Tale (if lives up to the original). Also, there's a really neat game called Taiko Drum Master coming out which I played all the time in Japan, which I'd get if it weren't for the fact I played the hell out of it over there.

Then again, I'm a Japanese RPG junkie :P

anyone know where I can find the music for GTA vice city?

I'd like to listen to it.

actually I might be tempted to buy the game, if it is cheap (around $10). I don't want to spend much because I suck at driving games. Even though I'm an excellent driver in real life. It's difficult when you can't "feel" the road. Driving in computer games is so abstract.

Rockstar has posted the first soundtrack details on their website, full track listings tomorrow. It's looking very promising so far, with a definate urban slant.

I like the Vice City Music, Wave is the best but some of the others are okay too...

For some reason I think of GTA (all of them) as Crime games, not driving games (I can't stand em' either). Like in Vice City there is all of 1 mission where you need good driving skills to pass (it's a race), and the driving physics are easy anyway. And the good thing about GTA is it doesnt matter if you crash into stuff, your kinda expected to

And in that racing mission, you can use violence to solve things. Simply take a high-powered assault rifle and shoot your rival. Take out a tire or two and the race is practically handed to you on a plate.
