Seriously, there are more then a few of us vets who got stuck in Bush's stop lose policy and who are angry about it. I wouldn't mind so much if the administration was just using it temperarily but they want to keep it in place indefinately and Bush keeps poo-pooing an increase in end force strength. If we don't have enough troops to maintain the op tempo then we simply have to have more troops but Bush doesn't want to do that.

I guess it's easier to simply tell ten or twenty thousand of us that we can't leave the military even though our contracts expired months or even years ago.

I have no doubvt The VFW and FL have endorsed Bush as they normally endorse the Republican candidate. That's one of the reasons I haven't joined either of those organizations because they are highly politically partisan. Well, that and they have very high membership dues.

BTW I've been back from Iraq for about a week now. That's why I've had so much time to post.
