	Moo2 PBEM Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Greetings all. I've been all over the Civ3 PBEM forum and thats all kinds of fun. I'd like to do a Moo2 PBEM.

Could someone tell me how to set one up. I'm not sure what settings to use for a cable modem.

Hi !

I dont know of any guy who plays moo in such a way. Its really much less fun then normal multiplayer games. First reason is : u wont probably find anyone to play this game with u in this mode.
2nd : battles must be automatic ( 1/2 of fun from moo2 is out).
3rd : Playing in this mode would be very annoying due to sending saves, especially between battles.
Normal moo2 game has avarage lenght of 130 turns. I dont know how much turns u can do per day. But its not really fun to have 2-3 games per year.
Moo2 on multiplayer is dynamic. A true ultimate strategy. U can feel it only by live games. I wish u good luck!

I may have to give MP a try. I didn't realise battles would have to be auto.

I hated playing Civ that way though. I'm not real fast. Civ lasts 300 turns or more. One turn a day is considered a fast game. To make up for this pace I'm currently playing 5 games.

Yes autobattles are much less fun then real combat. Its much better to find 1 hour per day for moo2 and save each game then do it via pbem. 130 days per 1 moo2 game gives maybe 3 games per year. Not much really if u wanna play this game and understand its rules. Also like i said b4 : it will be a miracle if u find a guy to play with by pbem. I play on kali from 2.5 years and i seriously know what i am talkin about.

Maybe I'll see you over there, but for right now I just reinstalled Moo2. Haven't played in almost a year so I'll do a little SP to shake the rust off.

Please confirm Kali is a one time cost of $16.

Yes it is. U can even do free acount for 1 month. It has some limitations, but it works. After u reinstall moo2 u should remember about 1.31 patch with turned on "initative" - a game option. Also install dos for further kali play.
Most popular is large map, organic galaxy and immposible level. Also look at patches from web site i have u. U will find there 1v140 b16 for dos only. U can apply it after 1.31 - it will be helpfull for kali play.
