...remember the setting guidebook thread started by myself... can't remember the title sadly... I'll try to look it up later- but I think the dan browne idea should be good in both terms of clues and an idea for the setting- set it in the time of Jesus or Leo Da Vinci and have Knights Templars etc... or you could set it in Renaissance Italy just generally and have Machiavelli, etc. (sort fo mess with the time and geography and lump all the historic greats together including Pope Julius II, Bernini etc.)

personally the favorite mafia games I've played in was:

Zopperoni's Nascar one even though the clues were bordering on nonexistent. I just prefer story with my clues, so a good story excuses a lot of things

Jamski, just wondering when are you next planning on auturing an adventure ? perhaps in the Assassins spinoff with the wild and wacky rules (heck, we could test the angel rule in assassins next game... and if Jamski's not up for it- I might even be convinced to ditch my increasing workload and test the new rules ideas... just becuase Nikolai's suggestion I think is an interesting one that would realy change the game up! )

A Shakespearian court theme intrigues me, a sort of like renaissance or French revolution mafia but in a more medieval setting. Have the random nobles, courtiers, the church reps, the inquisition, etc.
