It will sit there for a turn. Possibly (and most likely if I were Morgan) get killed before the turn getting back to us.

You need at least 1/3 movement point left to perform a probe action..

Of course if we're somewhat lucky we could land our elite probe, let it attack the defence attorney, and if our probe suffers little damage, move it back on the transport with its third move. But then again there will be a transport right next to a Morganite base, so they'll know who has them infiltrated anyway. And even if they don't see the transport (because it hides in the fungus for example), there aren't that many factions to their immediate right that could launch a probe attack on them...

This is true. (and by that time we might be pacted anyway - not we still need infiltration on everyone, even pactmates, 'cos we lose that infiltration (or at least "freeze" it) when we break pact (frozen in the sense that we kaap the old turns and can always refer to the last pre pact-break-up turn)

Almost ready to go:

Diplomatic Moves

  • Pre-accepted trade with Morgan - Ethical Calculus and Gene Splicing
  • Restored Treaty (pre-acceptd) for the Angels
  • nothing on the table with the Gaians

(I've been editing the longish turn-orders thread in the previous page as we've gone along, rather than issuing a new post every time I moved a unit)

I'll do the maps and the screenies presently

I was hoping for more feedback on the terraforming orders, particularly the one at Minas Tirith (forest for a 1-3-1 or a road/farm/mine for 2-4-0, or just a mine for a 0-5-0)

And with Ecol Eng, are boreholes (1 per base inititally) now our priority (re the SC-SC2-GH triangle, where we have tc-2 and tc-3 building a forest and a farm respectively)

Also, with the two tc's by OA (roads completed on their respective rocky tiles. Original plan was for them to team up and plop mines on both tiles over a 4 turn period. Still the plan? or do we redeploy them next turn for borehole workn somewhere? (not an issue this turn as they just completed the roads - well, maybe an issue as they could start immediately on mines, and would need to move somewhere to borehole)

Vladivostok will have 2 formers working its mineral special (I'm assuming a mine, but should it be a borehole too?)

Ah sorry I forgot about that.
Personally I'd opt for a forest. We'll get 1-4-1 production for only 4 former turns, while we'd have to spend 12 former turns (farm + mine) to get a mere 2-4-0: that's 8 former turns extra just to get an extra nut instead of an extra energy.
