It was Sparrowhawk's turn to end up beheaded.

In the next morning, Reismark was found to be the one who's turn it had been to go in the night. He had also been bludgeoned to the head with a blunt instrument; apparently a wooden piece of a board, "a two by four" as we'd call it, which had been left on the scene of crime.
Bishop Dauphin and Archbishop Ben Kenobi were starting to get very incensed.
"What a godless company this is!" the Archbishop cried out. "Murders after murders, maybe this is a punishment which we deseve."
"Quite right. For instance, the murder of DrSpike was a clear message from God - do not dabble in godless practices, or you will be sent to be judged earlier than may have been your time before."
"Are you saying whoever is killing us off is actually a tool of God and we shouldn't interfere with it?" Jamski asked incredulously. "What if they kill you?"
Dauphin coughed. "Eh, you have a point there, I suppose, good Count.
The Archbishop agreed. "But we are in high hopes that the Almighty will purge the unbelievers. As long as you are good in faith in the Lord and keep Him close to your hearts, you will be saved. If not from death, than from the depths of Hell."
"Somehow I'm not convinced", Jamski murmured. "In any case, we are fast running out of people to do our bidding for us."
"Indeed, I must protest", said Marshal Spaced Cowboy, "it is unbecoming of my stature as a General to have to serve dinner to you."
"Unbecoming? I hardly think so, General, seeing as you are of ignoble parentage."
"My actions and achievements speak for themselves, Count", Spaced curtly replied.
"Indeed they do, indeed they do", Jamski scoffed.
