I just d/l'ed the Crusaders of Might and Magic demo from Avault, then installed it, then read (part of) the readme, then promptly uninstalled the game without even starting it.
The problem is with the huge number of controls. You can use arrow keys to walk, or use the e-s-d-f keys for forward, left, back, and right movement. The space key to jump (up), or e-Space to jump forward, d-space for back, etc. Then there's space-e to roll forward, along with s-f for the l/r variants. Then, to attack you need the mouse. LMB-e to attack forward...
My problem with this setup is, TOO MANY controls, and it takes at LEAST 3 hands to use them all! YIKES!
HOMM is a WONDERFUL game, this one, I'll pass on.
