Okay, this is the formation thread for the Guiness 2-a-day, named in honor of our favorite WMD, Paddy. It begins with the same concept as 6p2ad started by Alexman:
Each Player Must Play During Their Slot Every Weekday.
What is a slot? It's a 2 hour time frame in the morning and the evening, that each player plays during - ie, 6am-8am and 6pm-8pm. You play 2 turns a day.
In order to join this game, you MUST commit to playing in your slot almost every day. Any player who does not make at least 8 slots in which his or her turn was present at the beginning of the turn (or 80% of the times in which it was) will be put on probation, and 3 such weeks in a month will be grounds for immediate replacement. In addition, 2 weeks of less than 50% of slots will also be grounds for replacement. Slots on the weekend do not count for this rule, although we expect you to try to play the turns on the weekend as well. The expectation is to have 10-12 turns per week overall.
Of course, we understand vacations and personal problems; if you post and let us know what's going on, we'll be understanding. We just want to make it clear that we intend to make this game fast-moving, expecting to finish in a few months rather than years.

C: EST 4-6 (GMT 11-1)

We should discuss them. I suggest a pangea, 70% water, raging barbs, middle of the road water/age, random civs. Anyone?

I can't play B. I confused you with a mistake I made. In my first post, I posted 9-11EST, assuming the first set of numbers were the GMT. I then didn't clarify this mistake with my second post which was after I realized my error. If E or F ends up available I can do it.
