ok it goes like this

4 players & 8 civilizations

Paddy - France & Celts
Rommel2d A.Lung - Sumeria & Netherlands
Grandpa Troll - Germans & Romans
SnoopCat - Ottoman & Arabia


4 teams of 2 civilizations locked in alliances

yet no player teamed with the same player, as in:

Player 1a France teamed with Player 2a Sumaria

Player 2b Netherlands teamed with Player 3a Germans

Player 3b Romans teamed with Player 4a Ottoman

Player 4b Arabia teamed with Player 1b Celts

this way each civilization can have two set allies - that being the civilization you are locked to , and your other one

Choice of Civilizations:

Paddy One A - France
Paddy One B - Celts

Aqualung Two A - Sumeria
Aqualung Two B - Netherlands

Grandpa Troll Three A - Germans
Grandpa Troll Three B - Romans

Snoopy Four A - Ottoman
Snoopy Four B - Arabia

I do strongly suggest that we set locked alliance with both sets of allies, so we can trade techs and whatnot from the start, rather that having to find our second civs

Also, how is diplomacy in this game expected to work? IE, if i'm allied to Paddy and Rommel, am I expected to go after Grandpatroll exclusively until both of his civs are gone, and then after Paddy and Rommel's second civs, and finally cross up between one of my civs attacking the other civ's ally? Am I expected to be a perfect ally with my two allies, ie give them techs that my other civ gains (since i'm going to give my other civ that tech, of course) etc.? Defend say Rommel from Paddy's attacks?

you have to work woth you allies, and try and see whether you can keep your self out of war with... well yourself


yeah the Diplomacy will be shocking, and hard to work out

yet we all have the skill to play hard
