Hi. I would like to create a scenario with more than 16 civs. In the Civ3 editor only 16 are shown. I have PTW. Can I easily add the additional PTW civs to my scenario? I am just a beginner at this and I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks a lot.

You need Conquests for to add CIVs to 31 I believe. I have conquests, never used anything underneath it. However, PTW expansion may have this limit of 16 CIVs.

Nice...
I am beta-testing something 'under-wraps' for six weeks now and I believe we hit a limit of 255 AI players (and not limited to one kind of AI either) and have tested out maps 600 by 800 (which is not the limit). There are some 'practical and progressive thinkers still afoot'. This is comparable to CIVII Gold, however better in some respects and without a bunch of hard-coded limits... which I now regard as 'hard-headed' limits as I better understand the making of games.

That is very true for the trade and culture complexities of CIV3, however this is simpler set-up like unto CIV2 in feel. As a matter of fact I am porting with some modification fantasy units from CIV2 collections. Difference being 80-100 AI players on 800 by 1000 full World Map replete with weather for instance may be feasible on a above average system.
I will keep you posted on the testing...
