Well if you have played the original Call of Duty and liked it, you should definitely try United Offensive expansion pack.. it's great, but like said in the OP.. it's too short. Not sure if it is worth the money. But for a day or two, great gaming experience.. the missions in general are more dynamic, the missions tends to continue as the situations 'develops', meaning you have to take out something or do something else in order for you to be able to continue with your original mission. But those aren't pain in the butt, those are nice ones. Like ambushing, and that kind of good stuff.
There is a better 'chaos' element in it, where you can get little more mixed up with the enemy, rather than have a traditional side A and side B, a line between which is not to be crossed except by your brave one man assaulting .
But it's not near perfect yet.. I'd like to see more of that chaos element, but it was already better used in this one than the original one. That's what createst a lot more intensity to the game and gives a great general feeling to it, after all it's a war game so you should feel excited.
They were still able to distinct US, Brits and Soviets pretty good, as you play as them all. But there's another feeling to them all, but that's a good thing.. adds to the life expectansy of the game, and generally makes it more playable time after time.
The gameplay is pretty good, and the mission ideas are good. Almost great even. But... what can I say.. over too quickly.. WAY too quickly. Considering you have to wait like a year at least to get a new one, or even a new version of the game.
