Should I buy Civ 3 - Complete? Support Apolyton

Hi,

I have 1- Civilization III, 2- Play the World and 3- Conquests. I wish to know your kind opinion about whether I should buy Civilization III - Complete or not? Please inform me as to what is the difference between what I already have and Civilization III- Complete? Thanks for your kind suggestions.

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Don't buy unless it's for some sort of sentimental reason. You gain nothing but a few maps and all patches, which are all downloadable for free anyway (and legally).

If you feel you want the compilations, just wait for it to be dirt cheap. It has nothing you need. I will eventually get it, when I see it for under 10 buck as a deal or a resell.

Certain game I like I get all the iterations, just because.

Civ2-Complete is an example: various versions, updates, and miscellaneous features all sold together.

Sorry about the lazy typing. I was trying to watch a movie at the same time, dumb.

Anyway, just as the formerly known rpodos said. In games like say MIght and Magic VI. I got the original version. Then I got the limited when it came out. Then I got millenium, then they had another and finally I got the platinum versions.

I just wanted to have all the iterations for it. Crazy and I do not do that for all my games and most do not have all that many any how. Hope that clears up another of my less than crystal clear post.

Increase Your PM Length

Hey T I sucked in on your example because Civ2 had two expansons, then the Gold version and finally the Test of Time package. I bought all of those as well, but only have ToT now.

I think they even had an MP version before the gold one, but I am not sure.

I suppose that Civ 3 Complete is Firaxis' way of telling us all 'Sorry guys, this game is dead to us so don't expect any patches or whatever. You can consider CIV a major patch if you wish. Cheers, kiddos.'

Got spare money?

There are better things a'cookin guys...
The only thing 'dead' is Firaxis' reputation
DO NOT buy CIV Complete, if you already have Conquests/CIVIII...

Why not pass the plate and send in a donation? I name vmxa1 deacon. Unless they put in writing that we will have access to to AI scripting and events in CIV#4, skip the donation, buy dark beer instead.

Sincerely,
Antrine

I bought Civ III Complete and love it. I would not have bought it if I had all the other versions - no need.

If you don't have CivIII now - buy Civ III Complete.
