New save is in,

a few points to raise though,

SS have built a city extremely close to one of ours in the south, only 1 tile apart. Not sure what to do, we can rush a temple but if they then rush a library (being sci) they'd have the upper hand quite soon.

There are 4 tiles up for grabs and the security issue too, we could send them a message about it or take matters into our own hands?

Also LL are offering Invention, should we offer them Chiv and some gold? if so how much?

Hm, a bit weird as we have been allied to them for almost the entire game so far.

It raises some interesting questions though. How would a LL/MAST alliance look like?

The new SS city simply looks ugly. Do they know something we don't btw? Salpeter comes to mind...

Can we ask someone else(with gunpowder) if they see salpeter in our territory?

I know we don't have a territory agreement but still. We're having a cultural lead btw, but it won't last long as they got a recent 'spike' in culture.

An alliance with LL can give us resource problems. They only got one horse which is extremely close to tabeland. And *we* are importing ours from SS, which got tons of them btw.


Oh, if you haven't done so already. Now is the perfect time to open an embassy with SS, only 31g as they seem to be evacuationg their capital. To Disneyland perhaps?

Time to go home Sol will be their next capital as it got 3 pop more than city #2. It seems like they screwed up the city placement royally though

I fail to see how they can get a proper 2-core civ now.

LL alliance could be an option, MZ likes a good war. Although it might be better to have a 3 way alliance against them with SS and Tabemono

yeah looks almost certain it will jump to sol, which is quite close to their new city. Their set up won't be as efficient as ours, can't see where their FP will be.. but they'll have a gapping hole one their capital is disbanded.

Probably going to be a while before I get a reply, SS have been a worrying lately, since Trip started playing their turns they've been unresponsive on the diplo front and he is normally quite aggressive

That's a good a reason as any,

CH has replied saying there isn't any SP around there, I guess we should wait untill we see if SS are going to rush a library before rushing a temple. The security thing isn't that big a deal as we're both within striking distance of a fastmover anyway at horizonte.

If it's ok I'm going to offer LL 100g + Chivalry for Invention, does that sound about right?

Also do we do the embassy now or wait a turn?

Embassy with SS? I doubt we will get a better 'offer', size 2 capitol, the only time it will be smaller is the turn they disband it. Now is the time

yeah, and Tabe are looking pretty strong too, they could probably take out 2 civs on this continent quite easily. We can see how we look when we get the troops upgraded.
