Original City Obelisks? Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

I miss the little obelisks and would love to have them show up in my games. I just need some help in figuring out how to make that happen.

What do I need to do to make them show up on the founding cities of each civilization like they used to?

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Trying turning on "Victory Points" when setting up a game. You get VPs for controlling these locations -- and they are marked with the "obelisks" as you call them.

Increase Your PM Length

That almost works. It places an obelisk where I start the game but not necessarily where I build my city. What I'm thinking of is the obelisks showed up once you build the city.

Well, for that, I believe you will need to modify the city graphic files. I've never seen every city have an obelisk, but there's no reason why you couldn't mod the game.

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Well I'm not too keen on actually having one on each city. I was just hoping to have one on each capital/original city. I always thought it was fun to accumulate obelisks while conquering other civs.

Does anyone actually remember the game doing this and if so does anyone remember which patch removed it and if there was a reason why?

It's no biggie but is something I started thinking about when I actually began playing some of the conqeusts and saw that the obelisks were still in the game but just had been removed from general Civ play.
