Murray Rothbard Leaves Earth!
It was revealed that among the scientists, wilderness guides, and others who blasted off to Alpha Centauri in the L.S.S. Murray Rothbard was Murray Rothbard MDCIII himself, having sneaked aboard! That lovable rogue - we wish him a happy live on Alpha Centauri, or at least we hope that the other colonists don't eat him.
Libertopia has spread to the heavens!
But it was a very close one! The Japanese launched their spaceship first, on the same turn that the Libertarians did, but had forgotten to steal Fusion Power from the Libertarians first! If they had, it would have been a tie and an amazing comeback. Also, the Libertarians foolishly did not conduct a pinpointed sabotage to prevent the last-ditch purchase by the Japanese of dozens of spaceship parts. In the end, it was moot, however, as the Japanese spaceship landed in 1853.
Here is the final demographic situation for the Libertarian civilization:
Here is the final Top Five Cities in the World to Live, as compiled by "Businessweek":
Here is the final casualty report from the defense minister. Note that the Vikings had only one casualty in the entire game! And I believe that came near the very end...
Here are the Wonders of the World as they were owned in AD 1851, when the Libertarian spaceship landed:
And finally, here is the powergraph for the entire game. Note how the Egyptians vaulted ahead under the Suas Dynasty, only to decline under successive less competent (and less lucky) rulers.

This game had some great thrills. I'd like to get some opinions on what the highlights were. Obviously, the intricate double backstab of the Japanese and Egyptians engineered by Dangime as the Chinese and the Libertarians, respectively, was a big one. Also, the eruption of the Egyptians-and-Chinese versus Libertarians war was a moment of high tension (causing one player to leave eventually). Finally, the near come-from-behind tie by Berzerker as the Japanese, with the help of Finbar and the Vikings, was a moment of extreme anxiety for me especially.
It was also interesting how the civilizations started out with customized names and tendencies. There was Jian Fu Lynn (Dangime) and the Chinese, Murray Rothbard and the Libertarians (Indians), Commissioner War4ever and the MLB (Carthaginians), Jo Jo Zep (Finbar) and the Falcons (Vikings), not to leave out Berzerker's Japanese, Slowwhand's Romans, and Suas' Egyptians. (For the life of me, I can't recall the leader names of the last two civs. The Egyptians ended up under "Dark Continent Ozzy" as AI--OzzyKP having taken over last.)
