Holidays Civ 2 Tournament - Russians
Well, since November is almost over I thought this might be a better title for the next tournament.
This is a random start with our usual settings on a normal-sized map. No special rules or restrictions will be used.
The deadline will be Jan 1, 2005.

Hm, no restrictions, I will try a conquest in BC years. I tried it in GOTM 41 but failed.

how do you turn civ re-starts off? I thought it was just a function of the game year.

Is this tournament by score, or by game year you win?

ST,
Good luck! If you conquer in BC I'm beat!
Peaster,
Actually, normal settings for us is Raging Hordes, Deity, and 7 civs. Restarts are on, which is the default in 2.42.
Welcome Jwray,
Rsetarts cab be turned off when you use the "customize rules" option. We usually determine wins by game year. It's up to you whether you want to play for conquest or an AC landing.
All,
Hmm, two tries go badly for for me spelling holidays in thread titles. Oh well.

Yes, they are on. I have had one already in my own game. You are right that they may spoil an otherwise excellent result.
