For Morgan Demo / Frontier / Knowledge / Golden Age isn't bad either. You can pop boom, you have +2 econ and +3 Efficiency, and no malus to your morale. It's not as efficient as some other settings economically and not as efficient as using fundy for warfare at other times, but it allows a pop boom during war time.

You're right, actaully it is. But if you are doing IA/Restriction lifters B-line, by the time you get Green SE as an option, it is already worth taking.

Yea, that is great for pop booming. But you only need to pop boom for about 10 turns. After that pick a better SE.

Since I try to role-play my faction, for Morgan any economic system other than Free Market is out of character. Along with that is the preference to maximize the Economy rating, so the choices be come Free Market, Wealth, Eudaimonic.
I choose Democratic for the +2Efficiency (Police State is out because of the -2Efficiency). Fundamentalist is out because of the -2Research: those grants are expensive enough without the scientists dragging their feet in the labs.
